General Hospital Spoilers: Laura's Choice Shocks Tracy-Willow On The Hospital Board?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) choice for a hospital board position will shock Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) in an upcoming episode of the ABC soap!

Tracy shouts at someone in the GH preview for Monday, July 13 asking if they’re crazy-might that be at Laura over her choice of Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen)?

Elizabeth Is Thrilled About The Prospect Of Someone Taking A Vacant Board Seat

Also in the GH preview for Monday’s episode, it shows Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) at the hospital, dressed in blue scrubs and she tells someone their taking the vacant seat is brilliant!

Putting these two scenes together, the person she’s talking to certainly sounds like someone Willow’s rooting for (perhaps misguidedly) and Tracy hates.

Recently, there has been a lot of drama around the Quartermaine house surrounding Willow and her “friendship” with Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Tracy even tried to set the two of them up for a romantic meetup, and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) has had a private detective following them and taking photos.

So, that’s the backdrop for Tracy reacting loudly and negatively to the prospect of Willow being on the hospital board.

Willow May Have And May Be Doing Some Underhanded And Illegal Things, But She Cares About GH

Willow may have and may be doing some underhanded and illegal things, but she cares about GH, and being on the board as a congresswoman means she can help the hospital.

She can pull congressional strings to get funding for projects the hospital wants to happen, and funding for the hospital itself if it’s necessary-that probably drives Elizabeth’s excitement.

One project she’s mentioned involves funding for daycare, and she likely has influential contacts in health and human services, including Medicaid and Medicare.

So, in spite of Willow’s-shall we say-dubious” personal projects”- she still wants to be able to use her political power to make good things happen at GH.

Tracy Will Fight To Have Willow Not Voted Into The Hospital Board With Everything She’s Got!

Tracy will fight to have Willow not voted into the hospital board with everything she’s got, and maybe some things she doesn’t-she wouldn’t be beyond trying to fake the outcome.

After all, she didn’t have a problem with covering up Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase’s (Amanda Setton) scrape on her car. She was trying to cover up that she was on Route 91 the night of Curtis and Jordan Ashford’s (Donnell Turner, Tanisha Harper) wreck!

But will Tracy succeed in faking the hospital board vote outcome, or will it backfire on her like her faked affair between Willow and Chase? If the hospital needs funding and Willow can get it as a Congresswoman, she’s likely to be voted in!
