Another day, another reason for royalists to be up in arms again. This time around though it seems like a lot of people are slamming Kate Middleton for putting her son, Prince George, in a very awkward position. Keep reading below for all the details you need to know.

The Princess of Wales took her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte to Wimbledon with her and while a lot of fans were excited to see the royal children engaging with other tennis fans at the event, many people also couldn’t help but notice how awkward George looked throughout the entire ordeal.

That’s because he looked like he wanted to be anywhere but at Wimbledon. But because his mother is patron of the event and of course, the future queen of England, George had no choice to be there.

At one point, the young boy even looked like he was twitching his arm because he was so nervous.

Clearly, many royalists on both sides of the pond had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “But George is a kid. He’s probably bored out of his mind. This is like waiting for your parents to finish talking to the pastor after church service.”

Prince George’s Terribly Awkward Moment

Another royalist said, “I couldn’t agree more. My daughter is George’s age and she wants to run and hide if we see people she knows when she’s out somewhere with me or my husband. It’s such a hard age, and the internet certainly doesn’t help anything.”

But then there was this comment as well: “To be fair to the kid, the tween cringe that comes from watching your very earnest mom or dad interact with kids around your age instead of just letting you talk to them is something that everyone who has a parent who is a bit awkward sometimes has probably experienced.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
