After being away from his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), and believing he may never see him again, will Jason turn away from his old ways and prioritize being a dad?

General Hospital spoilers hint that being in WSB custody undeniably changed Jason, and may have even traumatized him.

Will this be the very thing that wakes Jason up enough to realize it’s time to step away from the mob and anyone else that poses danger to him?

It’s not Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) fault that Jason got hauled away in late March, but had it not been for wanting to save Britt, Jason wouldn’t have been in the situation he was in at that time.

Added teasers for the summer suggest that Jason will have a major change of heart about his life, and the decisions he makes will affect both Britt and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Jason may be done with living life on the edge and just wants to be a father to Danny, who really needs him now, more than ever. That means no more henchman duties … and no more romance.

Jason Morgan’s Epiphany

Fans know that had it not been for Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) deal with WSB head, Z (John Oliver), Jason would not have been released from his prison in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jason may have spent night after night during these three months thinking about his son and wondering if he’d ever see him again. Not to mention his other boy, Jake Webber (Hudson West).

Still, at least Jake has his mother, Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). All Danny has is Jason. Now that Jason was given a second chance, he may not want to do anything to ruin it.

Jason has spent his entire life “saving” other people, staring down the face of danger, living the life of adventure: he may have an epiphany about just wanting to be a dad, live the simple life, and leave all that chaos behind.

When Jason hears about Danny’s spiral after he left, from asking Sonny to join the mob to getting arrested for breaking into the WSB and more: Jason may feel that it’s important – now more than ever – to act as a true role model in the boy’s life so he can realize that family and loved ones are all that matter.
