‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Monday, July 14: Finn’s Shocking Promise, Dylan Makes Her Move & Will’s Heartbreak

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Monday, July 14, 2026. In today’s episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) makes a promise he shouldn’t.

Sheila Carter Begs

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is still in Finn’s office at the hospital. The woman talks about her shattered heart over Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Finn called her mom and that gives her hope! She will never let him down! The woman misses Finn and their togetherness. Sheila knows she wasn’t worthy before, but what about now? 

Sheila continues begging Finn to speak to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). If he supports Sheila, his marriage will be over. Sheila just wants time with her family. Steffy doesn’t even need to be there! Finn says it’s not possible. Sheila reminds him that she could have targeted Deacon and Taylor, but didn’t. 

Finn knows and is proud of Sheila. He still can’t betray Steffy. Sheila keeps begging. Eventually, Finn wears down. The doctor says he will talk to Steffy, but can’t promise anything. That’s all Sheila wants. Sheila agreed to a peaceful divorce to prove she’s not like she was all those years ago. 

John Finnegan’s Love Bomb

Sheila doesn’t expect him to say he loves her. Finn suddenly blurts out that he does love his bio mom. They embrace but Finn has a worried, distant look on his face.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Discovery

At Forrester Creations, Steffy is on the phone. Eye on Fashion wants an interview. LOL! That’s funny. Steffy refuses and angrily hangs up the phone.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) enters and isn’t pleased. Steffy asks if he’s okay. Ridge fills her in on punching Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

Steffy reasons that Bill deserved it, even though Ridge feels like a hypocrite. Steffy tells him about Deacon and Sheila’s divorce.

However, Sheila now wants to be in Finn’s life. The lady is worried that Finn might give into Sheila. Ridge doesn’t think that will happen. 

Bill Spencer’s Warning

At Logan, Bill shows Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) his bruise from Ridge. Bill suggests that Will get over Electra. Will is determined to fix things. Bill says that you can love someone, but that doesn’t mean it’s fate. There are lots of other women in L.A. Will only wants Electra. 

Bill explains that Will hasn’t done anything wrong. Electra should be more understanding. Will still wants her back.

Will wants to know why his father isn’t pushing him to fight, like he did for Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom).

Bill says the situations are totally different.

Bill reasons that Will should be making the rules, not following them. Spencers and Forresters are not meant to be together.

Bill suggests his son go to the beach and forget about Electra. 

Melissa Dylan’s Hope

At Bikini Bar, Electra opens up to Dylan. She explains she moved out of the beach house. Dylan is shocked. How could one fashion show cause a breakup?

Electra tells Dylan about Will punching RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) again. RJ almost had a concussion and she had to take him to the hospital! 

Electra also explains that Ridge ordered her to make a choice. The Spencers and Forresters can’t be together.

Dylan says it’s Electra’s life and she can be with Will if that’s what she really wants.

Electra says she kinda owes the Forresters. Once Dylan hears it’s totally over with Will, she looks around.
