The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Monday, July 18, 2026. In the next episode, we will see Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) get between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Plus, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is held accountable. Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.
Key Takeaways
- Jack targets Victor again.
- Nikki is caught in the middle.
- Adam makes Sally a promise.
- Nick confronts Matt.
- Victor’s past schemes come back to haunt him.
Jack Abbott’s Revenge
Let’s kick off this post with Jack. The man will cause another rift between Victor and Nikki. Of course, the reasons for this are twofold.
For one thing, Victor had no problem getting in between Jack and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters). There was also Victor getting Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk released from the psych ward.
If Victor hadn’t done that, then Jack never would have gotten stabbed, and Diane would never have had a needle stuck in her neck.
At some point, Victor needs to be held responsible, but we know that will probably never happen.
Backfired Schemes
However, we also know that Victor and Nikki are going to have an understanding. So, it sounds like Jack’s revenge scheme won’t work. Of course, Victor is always better behaved when Nikki is around. So, in a weird way, Nikki is actually protecting Jack.
Adam Newman’s Promise
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 18 reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) makes a promise.
That promise will be to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Adam is not on the same page as Victor regarding Spectra-Charles Media.
However, Victor seems to be blaming Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) when Adam’s just trying to do the decent thing.
One minute Chelsea was family, another minute, she’s the enemy. That doesn’t sound good for CHADAM at all!
Meanwhile, I wonder if this could actually pave the way for Adam and Sally to reunite. If he ends up saving her new company, that would score a lot of points.
Nick Newman’s Mission
As for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he tries to hold Matt accountable for his actions. When it comes to Matt, he doesn’t deny he did bad things. I’m not sure what Nick expects Matt to do.
Of course, Matt could always leave Genoa City, but that wouldn’t give us much of a story!
In any case, I’m wondering if the tables will suddenly turn. Could Nick end up becoming the villain while Matt becomes the victim? That could definitely divide and split people, especially with Matt’s new home base.
Which storyline are you looking forward to seeing the most on Monday, July 18, 2026?
