Kate Middleton Refuses to Engage as Meghan Markle’s Barbs Continue, Expert Claims

The Sussexes’ fallout from the Royal Family was a very public one. Needless to say, we’ve been made willing and/or unwilling spectators in this ongoing royal rift.

But, while the Sussexes could leak information like a damaged roof would leak water, the Waleses have so far abided by the Queen’s famous “never complain, never explain” mantra.

But does that mean that none of the things the Sussexes are doing is getting under their skin? A royal expert doesn’t think so.

The silence we’re witnessing from the Waleses’ end is the direct result of Catherine choosing to become the bigger person.

Expert Says Princess Kate Won’t Interfere With Any Reconciliation Efforts Made By Prince William and Prince Harry

As Harry charges on with his reconciliation efforts, we’ve heard a mouthful about how Meghan is letting him take the lead, or is supporting him through this, or this and that.

However, what we have no information on is how Kate is reacting to Harry’s reconciliation efforts.

According to royal biographer Jennie Bond, Catherine would not necessarily interfere with whatever is going on between the brothers.

She told New magazine: “The battle is really between the brothers. I’m sure if William and Harry ever come to a point when they want to settle their differences, their wives will support them and follow their lead.”

“I don’t think the princess and duchess would ever be particularly close, but I think Catherine would simply rise above the barbs that Meghan has launched in her direction,” Bond opined.

The Princess of Wales continues to share a very close relationship with her parents and two younger siblings, so she’d likely not be opposed to William getting along with the only brother he has.

“I suspect that Catherine is more of a natural peacemaker. I would never say never about a reconciliation of sorts between William, Catherine, Harry and Meghan – however, there is certainly no sign of it on the horizon.”

In fact, following the Oprah interview, it was famously Catherine who tried to breach the gap between the brothers. Sadly, even after that little chat at Prince Philip’s funeral, Harry went rogue the second he landed in Montecito.
