Meghan Markle Accused of Breaking a No-Social-Media Deal With Queen Camilla

It seems that before Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the kids could be allowed to see King Charles and Queen Camilla, they were given a set of rules that they absolutely had to abide by.

One of these rules was that details of the meeting must remain under wraps, and not be leaked to any media outlet.

However, even though the Sussexes seem to be keeping their own end of the bargain by keeping mute on the visit so far, a source claims they’ve already partially broken the agreement in this bold way.

It didn’t take long after the Sussexes returned to the US for fans to get a glimpse into their summer wanderings. Meghan happily shared the carousel of pictures taken from their summer holiday on Instagram.

While several pictures from different locations were shared, the one that caught everybody’s eye was the picture of the kids at Althorp House.

Harry and Archie were carrying flowers, which prompted fans to guess that they were heading to the secluded lake where Princess Diana was buried. Prior to arriving in the UK, rumors had surfaced to suggest that the couple mean to make the trip.

According to an insider, fans weren’t the only ones peeved that Meghan would share such a picture knowing its significance. Apparently Queen Camilla was also of the mind that they shouldn’t have done it.

“Camilla’s words appear to have fallen on deaf ears,” a palace insider reportedly told New Idea. “She feels that she was clear about no social media posts, and if Meghan thinks Althorp was an exception, she was very wrong.”

Whilst a so-called Palace insider may have said this, it’s also important to note that the palace has been very closed off on the particulars of Harry and Meghan’s visit. I doubt they’d be sharing reactions now that the visit is actually over with.

On the other hand, Rebecca English claimed that the Sussexes’ PR team was behind the “small leaks,” and “suggestions” that the papers have published so far on the trip.
