Everything We Know About Lacey Chabert’s New Hallmark Show
Titled ‘Paris Is Always a Good Idea,’ Chabert’s new Hallmark show is based on the 2020 Jen McKinlay novel of the same name.
Alongside Chabert, who will also be starring in an upcoming Christmas movie, Scott Michael Foster and Rebecca Hansse will be putting up appearances.
Prior to the show premiering on July 30, Chabert shared a sneak peek in the way of a trailer, writing, “The next chapter may be the one to change it all ✨💕.
Catch @thereallacey in the new limited series, #ParisIsAlwaysAGoodIdea. The first two episodes premiere Thursday, July 30, exclusively on Hallmark+.”
Appearing on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark,’ Chabert confirmed that Hallmark’s decision to turn the story into a series is based on the idea that a longer format would allow them to explore the characters in a way that would even surprise fans of the book.
Per Chabert, the show gets more intense as it goes on, with heartwarming moments and surprises the order of the day.
The synopsis reads, “Nonprofit executive Chelsea is in Paris to secure a major donor, but begins an unexpected journey across Europe to reconnect with her past loves.”
