Alex’s Life And Marriage Have Been In Turmoil Ever Since Joy Arrived In Town With Kelsey

Ever since Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) reappeared in town, claiming to be the mother of Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) daughter, his life has been thrown into chaos.

Likewise, Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) has had to grapple with the reality of Kelsey Kiriakis’ (Lena and Mira Chase) presence and the fact that Alex is always rushing to Joy’s side. The situation took a turn for the worse when Stephanie fired a shot, nearly hitting Joy.

While Stephanie has apologized for the incident, Joy is determined to keep her away from Kelsey. In fact, she refuses to sign any custody agreement that would allow Stephanie to be involved in Kelsey’s life.

The Situation Only Seems To Get Worse And Worse

As the Days storyline continues to unfold, the situation only seems to worsen. Joy’s manipulative behavior is increasingly straining Alex’s marriage to Stephanie.

And it’s clear that her intentions are to win Alex over for herself. However, the writers of Days might have a significant twist in store for us down the road.

Even though a DNA test has confirmed that Alex is indeed the father, we all know that in the world of DOOL, such tests often hold little weight!

Over the years, there have been numerous paternity tests that resulted in shocking errors or were manipulated to serve someone’s agenda.

Might Joy Have Faked The DNA Results-Is The Father Someone Else?

Given Joy’s cunning nature, it wouldn’t be surprising if she concocted a scheme to falsify the DNA results just to mislead Alex. It would be quite simple for a plot twist to reveal that Joy had an encounter with another man around the same time she claims Alex got her pregnant.

This scenario could mirror the situation with Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), where Tate Black (Leo Howard) believed he was her “baby daddy” for months, only for it to be revealed that Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) was the actual father.

Is Alex destined to face yet another frustrating and heart-wrenching paternity revelation? Could Joy be orchestrating a plan to manipulate Alex and lead him to heartbreak?
