The Bold and the Beautiful Casting News: Soap Vet Kelly Sullivan Enters LA As Dylan’s Mom

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers confirm a new face is about to pop up in Los Angeles. As per TV Insider, Kelly Sullivan is joining the cast. CTS has all the fun details below!

Welcome To LA, Darcy Dylan!

As per reports, Sullivan has been cast in the role of Darcy Dylan, Melissa Dylan’s (Sydney Bullock) mom. Sullivan’s debut on The Bold and the Beautiful is slated for Thursday, August 27.

Darcy will arrive in town just as Dylan finds herself caught in the middle of the massive drama between Spencers and the Forresters.

Sounds like Dylan will need her mom, and her mom will be by her side!

Kelly Sullivan’s Resume

Sullivan entered the crazy world of soaps in 2011 when she stepped into General Hospital as the Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri recast, taking over for actress Megan Ward.

Fans may recall that Connie/Kat was the love interest of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Sullivan exited the ABC soap in 2013 when Ava Jerome (Maura West) shot and killed her.

Sullivan then hopped over to The Young and the Restless from 2014 to 2016, playing Sage Warner, the mom of Christian Newman (Alex Wilson).

She also had romances with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). During her time in daytime, Sullivan was nominated twice for a Daytime Emmy.

Once in 2014 for her role on General Hospital, and once in 2017 for her work on The Young and the Restless.

Primetime Roles

Sullivan has also worked outside of soaps, including working on Too Close to Home, which aired on TLC, and Bonnie Hayes in 2016, for two seasons.

She also had a recurring role on Henry Danger, a Nickelodeon hit, playing Kris Hart, from 2014 to 2020. The actress was also on two seasons of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever, playing the role of June Hall-Yoshida, among other TV appearances.

She also has done movies and stage productions.
