The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for the week of August 10, 2026. We can expect Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to meet a new friend.

Meanwhile, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) gets counseled about his career crossroads. Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.

Facing Demons

Let’s start off with Nick. The man left rehab but is supposed to go back. At least, that is what he told Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). However, fans know that Nick ends up calling a dealer to get drugs. 

At some point, Nick ends up meeting a new friend, which is probably newcomer Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow). However, Nick is also forced to face his demons. If Nick’s new friend is an addict too, then he might not go back to rehab.

There aren’t a lot of details about Nick’s future, but midweek, he needs comfort from this new friend. That sounds like it could turn passionate. Then, later in the week, Nick hits rock bottom. 

Career Choices

Over with Nate, he has to consider if he’s going to have this procedure and return to medicine. It’s a huge decision. One part of Nate is a born doctor and it’s something he’s passionate about.

At the same time, we saw Nate’s excitement over business. So, he will feel torn about this, although I don’t see why he can’t have both. In any case, Nate gets some counsel from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Devon Winters’ Announcement

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 10 reveal that Devon Winters (Bryton James) will make an announcement.

This announcement will totally blindside his family. It could be good, but with the way Devon has been acting, I just don’t have a good feeling.

Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) sees a new side to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). It is being suggested that Kyle and Victoria could cross the line.

Surely, Kyle isn’t seeing Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin), but that doesn’t give him permission to get passionate with her mother! I wonder how Claire is going to react if her mother goes in this icky new direction?

What Else to Expect

As for the rest of the week, we will see Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) issue a warning. This warning will be to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Billy’s latest plan. That same day, Billy shares a secret with Jack and Kyle.
