The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates reveal Jill Abbott (Lauren Koslow) is holding a deep dark secret she may have held for years, and her son Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wants to know why!

It could be anything from a secret about her health to a secret about Billy himself-but probably the deepest, darkest, and most downright scandalous secret would be if Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was really Billy’s father!

Jill Abbott Had An Affair With Victor Newman In 1992, Billy Abbott Was Born In 1993

Jill had an affair with Victor in 1992, and Billy was born in 1993-John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) tried to talk Jill into aborting Billy, but she wouldn’t.

Jill chased after Victor for his wealth, influence, and prestige. She was convinced that he would pop the question and elevate her to the position of Mrs. Newman.

However, Victor chose to end their relationship rather than marry her, resulting in a widely publicized and humiliating fallout for Jill. John had two marriages to Jill-the first, 1982-1986, the second 1993-1996.

John Even Wondered If Jill’s Baby Was Victor’s, But No Paternity Test Was Ever Done

Embarrassed, Jill swiftly rekindled her romance with John, leading to their remarriage, much to the disapproval of his children, Jack Abbott, (Peter Bergman) Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). Jill had a strong desire to start a family, but John believed he was too old for that.

However, Jill succeeded in getting pregnant just before John secretly underwent a vasectomy. Upon learning of her pregnancy, John pressured her to terminate it, but Jill was unable to go through with it.

John couldn’t help but question whether the baby, whom they named Billy Abbott, could actually be Victor’s, given that he was aware of their past relationship, although no paternity test was ever done,.

Billy Is Determined To Find Out His Mother’s Secret, Regardless Of The Fallout

Billy is determined to find out his mother’s secret, regardless of the fallout, and he even talked to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) about it.

Billy thought it might be a financial secret, and mentioned an influx of cash years ago with an unknown source, when he saw Cane scouring the company archives.

Cane told him that happened years before Jill took over Chancellor, and advised him just to drop it-whether Jill would have confided such a personal secret to Cane is doubtful!

But if Billy’s mother’s secret is that he’s really Victor’s child and not John’s, think of all the scandalous fallout over the years, a scandal Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) would have died to expose!

The worst of which is his marriage to and children with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) – Victor’s daughter, and a half-brother to his enemy Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and what will Victor think?!
