It’s a name that she’s been known by for so many long years, but it’s also the same name that frustrates her to the core.

The Princess of Wales married Prince William back in 2011, but for some reason, the media still calls her Kate Middleton to this very day. And for the future queen of England, this is extremely frustrating.

That’s mostly because she finds it highly disrespectful. She’s a married woman with three small kids and a very important member of the British royal family, yet the world keeps on referring to her as her maiden name.

For Princess Kate, she just doesn’t understand where all of this disrespect is coming from. As much as some people like her own husband Prince William tries to call her Catherine in public as much as possible, it just hasn’t stuck.

Each time the press writes something about Kate, they always have to refer her to Kate Middleton. It’s not like Princess Diana got the same treatment. That, and it’s also been noted that even Queen Camilla is not called Camilla Parker-Bowles anymore.

What’s Next For Princess Kate?

Now, whether or not the media is finally going to drop Middleton from Kate’s name remains to be seen, but at this point it’s highly unlikely.

At this point, it seems like the only thing that’s going to work is if the Princess of Wales writes a statement herself and demands that the media stop using her maiden name.

But even if she went as far as doing something like that, it’s not like the British media is going to pay attention and listen. It’s almost as though they don’t respect her enough to see her as a married woman and someone who is married to the future king of England, no less.
