Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Stephanie Risks Her Own Life To Save Kelsey’s?

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) could risk her own life to save little Kelsey Kiriakis (Lena and Mira Chase).

Could this act of courage and bravery be the very thing that helps sway Joy Wesley’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) mind to allow Stephanie around her baby?

Alex Kiriakis’ Impossible Decision

Days of Our Lives spoilers note that the tension between Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie lately has been unbearable. Joy will not allow Stephanie anywhere near Kelsey because she feels the woman is too mentally unstable to be around her daughter.

She even dug her heels in and refused to sign the custody agreement. She wants Stephanie to have nothing to do with Kelsey until she is at least 18.

This places Alex in a very difficult position: basically having to choose between his wife and his child.

On the one hand, it does seem as if Joy is purposely playing games because she’s in love with Alex. On the other hand, Stephanie did almost shoot her, for no good reason, so there’s that, too.

Alex Kiriakis Running On Empty

Now, Alex has the task of watching Kelsey full-time, as Joy is in the hospital recovering from spinal stenosis.

It’s a big task to take on, and he’s doing it all by himself as he’s respecting Joy’s wishes of not wanting Stephanie around. Stephanie has moved out of the apartment and in with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), who is just across the hall.

As Alex is maintaining his full-time job and taking care of Kelsey, could he run on empty? Being a single parent is no joke, and as he’s never done this before, he may be feeling run down by week one.

It’s not hard to imagine an incident happening, like Alex accidentally starting a fire because he left a stove burner on (or something along those lines).

As Stephanie is so close, she could detect a problem and rush in to save the day. She may not care about the flames or the risk to her own life; Alex could be passed out or unable to save his child’s life, himself.

If Stephanie saved Kesley’s life should could sway Joy into bending that ‘no Stephanie around baby rule’. Joy would have to oblige … Stephanie saved her child’s life! At the very least, if Joy continued to object, it would reveal that she is making a play for Alex, through the baby!
