Meanwhile, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) faces a complicated crossroads. Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.

Chancellor Chaos

Let’s start off this post by talking about Billy and Chancellor. Even though the Abbott family wants to stay far away from this mess, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) believes the evidence is real.

The man said so himself that his father was famous for iron-clad contracts. So, it sounds just like John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) to have this secret stipulation come up long after his death.

However, I still think John would have mentioned it if he actually wanted it enforced one day. The fact that it’s buried indicates that maybe the debt was paid off in another way. 

Discrediting & Disownment

Over with Victor, his solution will be to discredit Billy. Victor knows that if you control the narrative, you have a better chance of winning no matter what the facts are.

So, Victor might want Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to bash Billy in the press. 

If Billy is labeled a nutjob before this goes to court or the press, he has a bigger chance of losing.

Spy Games & Sneak Attacks

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 24 reveal that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will need to pick a side regarding Chancellor. As for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she can play dirty if necessary and said so. 

Lily and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) could get downright devious to win the battle. Will they be able to keep Chancellor in the end, though?

What Else to Expect

As for the rest of the week, expect Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and VIctoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to strategize. As the two continue bonding in a new way, they might even share a sizzling kiss.

Never mind what Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) would think. I’m way more interested in Victor finding out what his precious daughter has done now!

Finally, we have Matt and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). While Matt faces a crossroads and wants to be a good man, Phyllis might claim that redemption is overrated. I have to say I totally agree with Phyllis, but will Matt?
