According to the Daytime Dish leaker, both Z and Cassius will reappear in October or November, and backed it up with a referral to a “JO tidbit” which can only stand for John Oliver!

John Oliver’s Return Has Not Yet Been Publicized, But The Leaker Must Have Heard Him Hint

Although John Oliver’s return to General Hospital has not yet been publicized, the leaker must have heard him drop a hint-in fact, both his soap appearances leave room for a return.

As for Ryan Paevey, he had a couple of movies to complete but as recently as August 7 was open to reprising the Cassius character.

Oliver’s character Z, faked Cassius’ death, giving him an option to work for him in the WSB, which Cassius more than likely accepted, versus a lifetime in Steinmauer Prison.

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has been begging to know where her son’s remains are so she and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) can bury him. That investigation is starting soon, and if Z is hiding Cassius, it makes sense for both to return in the fall.

Unfortunately, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) a fan favorite, is also set to be  killed off in the fall-and it’s tied into this WSB storyline. It makes sense that Z will return when that happens, and he may bring Cassius with him, although how long the return is, is unknown.

Fans will just have to tune in and keep watching to see what’s ahead-there will always be hints if you know how to look for those “easter eggs”.

There have already been hints that Brennan has run afoul of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and he mentioned turning tables in a scene with Ava Jerome (Maura West). This was when Brennan interrupted them at the Metro Court Pool.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is possibly setting up to kill Britt, if someone doesn’t save Anna from herself first, and that situation could end up with Cassius and Z’s return.

Plus, the storyline with Jasper Jacks (last played by Ingo Rademacher) Enterprises will telescope into the WSB umbrella story, Jack is already investigating the company. He is suspicious that Jax would make Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) his CEO when she has no experience!

Plus, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) is not only tied into the JJE storyline, but the Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) and Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) situation as well. There are easter eggs currently hidden all over the canvas, awaiting Z’s return in the fall!
