General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Pitches A Job To Jason-What Will He Ask Him To Do?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will pitch a job to Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton), and even Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will be surprised! 

Valentin asks Jason to meet him at the Metro Court Pool, and Carly seems to just happen upon their meeting.

In a couple of promo clips for the episode set to air on Monday, August 24, Jason asks him about his idea, and it seems to be a job offer to Jason.

Valentin verifies that the idea is his and his alone, and Jason wants to hear more-he tells him to keep talking.

Jason’s not working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) anymore, but he hasn’t been approached about doing anything for ELQ or Aurora Media, and besides, the only business experience he has is Corinthos Coffee.

Even then, Jason didn’t have a boardroom job, he was hands on-overseeing the coffee shipments and basically functioning as a clerk, when he wasn’t doing “the other job” for Sonny.

Sonny left the mob too, but nothing’s been said about if Jason divested himself from Volonino’s Gym and Pozzulo’s as well.

Valentin Is Talking About A Legitimate Job, Or Jason Wouldn’t Be Interested

Valentin is talking about a legitimate job in a legitimate business, or Jason wouldn’t be interested; the auction of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo  Rota) properties hasn’t taken place yet.

Sonny, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Valentin all want a piece of that pie, but Valentin is most interested in Wyndemere and Spoon Island, to bring it back into the Cassadine family.

Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) wants to live there again so she can keep her horse nearby in the old Cassadine stables, assuming they’re there.

Considering Jason’s son Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte are close, and spend a lot of time together anyway, Valentin may have struck on an idea after Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) paranoia.

Might Valentin want to hire Jason as a bodyguard for Charlotte, and then have him stay on as security at Wyndemere after the auction, presuming he’s successful?

Carly Seems Blindsided To See Jason And Valentin Meeting

Carly seems to come into the conversation blindsided, with Valentin not having advised her of his plans to meet with Jason-who won’t shake Valentin’s hand at first, but may warm up to him.

Charlotte feels smothered by Lulu’s smother-mothering, but Danny loves to spend time with his father, so having Jason around may not be such a big deal.

Besides that, Jason is very experienced in surveillance, both with what he did for Sonny and his forced stint in the FBI-and so he may not even have to be along visibly.

This would take the heat off both Valentin and Lulu, and as a bonus, he gets more time with Danny if Charlotte doesn’t mind him around when she and Danny do things together.

And doing security at Wyndemere once Valentin gets it and the island back will be something different-will Jason accept?
