Let’s start this post off by talking about the adventure in Tahiti. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will count their blessings.

As they think about everything they have endured and survived together, they will be ready for this sweet new chapter in their lives. 

Fans know that Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) was arrested. As for Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), she’s supposed to be in a maximum security psych ward until her court date.

They will be grateful that the nightmare is over. However, in soaps, there is always a nightmare right around the corner. So, this could be the calm before another storm. Patty is pretty clever, though. I wouldn’t put it past her to come up with an escape plan.

Villain’s Location

Over with Matt, it appears that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has him stashed in the same hospital as Patty.

So, it might only be a matter of time before Matt and Patty reconnect. That could lead them to strategizing and getting out of there together!

Matt and Patty already know each other. However, I worry that Victor’s actions along with Patty could bring the villain out in Matt. There is only so much one person can take. Seeing how fake and crappy people are will certainly do the trick. 

Honestly, I’m starting to feel that the Newmans deserve everything the villain has done to them. Victor has way too much time on his hands. You would think running a business would keep someone busy enough, but apparently not. It really shows how insecure he is, too.

One Woman’s Freak Out

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 27 reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will continue freaking out. The woman will blast Victor for getting rid of Matt and want answers. 

Of course, Victor and Phyllis will just exchange threats instead of actually doing something. I say enough talk and more action.

It’s clear that Victor isn’t going to do what Phyllis wants. However, with her hacking skills, I wonder if she will get the information she needs another way. Stay tuned to find out.
