Days Of Our Lives’ Nadia Bjorlin Comments On Why She Won’t Be Reprising Chloe Lane RoleDays of Our Lives alum Nadia Bjorlin recently revealed in an interview that she had been asked to return to the Peacock soap to reprise her fan-favorite character, Chloe Lane, but declined. Nadia Bjorlin Explains

Bjorlin has played Chloe Lane on Days of Our Lives, on and off, since 1999, with her last appearance taking place in 2023.

Bjorlin talked with Michael Fairman recently, doing an interview with another Days alum, Kyle Pettis (ex-Theo Carver). The two were promoting their new movie, Veronica & Julian.

It’s been rumored online that Sofia Mattsson (ex-General Hospital’s Sasha Gilmore) will be entering the canvas in early 2027, playing Chloe.

Nothing has been confirmed by Days, and when Fairman brought it up, Bjorlin stated, “Oh, I’m not allowed — okay, I can’t say anything [on that subject].”

What she could talk about was her status with Days, and she confirmed that they did ask her to return, “But logistically, it just didn’t make sense.”

The actress lives in Ireland with her husband, Grant Turnbull, and two sons. Meanwhile, Days shoots in L.A. With that said, Bjorlin did add that it “… hurt her heart to have to say no.” Bjorlin stated, “So, I guess I can confirm that it will not be me playing Chloe if there’s a Chloe that comes back [laughs].”

Bjorlin’s Chloe Recast Feelings

Bjorlin was then asked how she’d feel if Chloe was recast. The actress noted that ‘Chloe’ was a different chapter in her life, and she’d wish a new actress all the best. She went on to say, “I’m okay because they did ask me and I said no.”

Bjorlin did say, “Of course, it’s like, ‘Yeah, I grew up there. I feel like those were my high school/college years, and that’s, like, my family.”

Chloe left the little town in 2023 with former flame Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) to head to NYC and give their love another go. Sadly, it didn’t work out, and Philip returned to Salem on his own in 2024.
