Gio’s life was torn apart by what he considered lies concerning his adoption and true parentage, and he doesn’t like that his mother lied about her involvement in a potentially fatal accident!

Gio Thinks A Lot Of His Singing Partner And Close Friend Trina Robinson

Gio thinks a lot of his singing partner and close friend Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and he is shocked at her announcement of what she’d overheard-Brook Lynn had hidden the truth for months.

Brook Lynn had her reasons-she’d had a few glasses of wine before heading out on the road to Charlie’s Pub that night to see Gio play at karaoke night.

She’d missed when he and Trina did their act, however-and nearly missed a head-on collision, scraping a guardrail.

She was worried if she reported it she may get a drunk driving charge, hurting her chances for adoption of Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) had covered it up right away, having Brook Lynn’s BMW repaired and repainted-and encouraged her to never tell the truth!

It Took Quite Some Time For Gio To Accept Brook Lynn As His Mother, And Dante As His Father

It took quite some time for Gio to accept Brook Lynn as his mother, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as his father-although Dante made it difficult to accept him!

It’s only been in the past few months that he finally accepted his birth parents and started having a fairly good relationship with them, so of course the coverup being exposed really sting

And that the wreck could have killed his friend Trina’s father, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) may have been his mother’s fault is something Gio can’t deal with.

Gio Demands Answers From Brook Lynn

Gio demands answers not only from Brook Lynn, but from Tracy, because he knew about Tracy’s taking Brook Lynn’s car to be repaired-meaning she was in on the secret too.

He lives on the Quartermaine property and sees everything that goes on, so how could he be expected not to know about this?

Even Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) knew about Brook Lynn’s car being scraped and Tracy having it repaired!

Gio told Brook Lynn he would have understood if she hadn’t gotten there to see him play, having been involved in a wreck along the way.

There would have been other performances she could see, and possibly even with Trina, since they make a good duo!
