General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) may just have hit the bullseye when it comes to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) this week on the ABC soap.
Ned asked Chase a very specific question about why he walked out on Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) and then made it even more specific!
Key Takeaways
- Ned questions Chase about leaving Brook Lynn
- Chase keeps focusing on what happened to Willow
- Ned notices Chase’s reaction immediately
- Chase has a long history of protecting Willow
- Could unresolved feelings be driving the Chalynn split?
The Truth Came Out, And It Was Painted As Brutal And Ugly By Trina Robinson
The beginning of the end for ‘Chalynn’ happened as Chase realized, after talking to Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) that his wife’s narrative of the night of the Ashford crash didn’t jive.
He asked more questions of Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) about the night Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) went to see Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) perform at Charlie’s Pub.
And then, after realizing that Lucy had helped Brook Lynn frame Willow for Curtis and Jordan Ashford’s (Donnell Turner, Tanisha Harper) near fatal wreck on Route 91, he confronted Brook Lynn after telling Lucy to change her story!
Brook Lynn admitted that it was her car that scraped the guardrail on the way to the show but she hadn’t known the other car went off the road-which was Jordan’s.
Trina overheard, and came inside the Quartermaine mansion where she and Gio were going to perform, and confronted Brook Lynn with what she overheard-and it was brutal and ugly!
Chase Has Continued To Favor Willow, Even After She Left Him For Michael, When Chase Was Dying!
General Hospital fans may remember several years back, when Chase nearly died from a toxin that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) spiked some drinks with-and Chase got the “winning” cup!
He and his parents and brother, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) played a game with the drinks, spinning them on a lazy susan on the table, having no idea that one, meant for Finn, was poisoned.
This was back when Chase and Willow were together and Finn was with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)-thus, the Peter connection.
Before Finn and their father, the late Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) came up with a miracle cure, Chase was in a wheelchair and dying-it was then that Willow seduced Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson)!
Even after all the truth came out and he was recovered, Chase still seemed to have a hero complex for Willow, and felt she could do no wrong!
Chase Seemed To Focus On Willow A Lot When Ned Tried To Get Him To Reconcile With Brook Lynn
Chase seemed to focus on Brook Lynn framing Willow a lot while talking with Ned, and even more so than he did on the potentially deadly wreck, which Jordan already blamed herself for.
Jordan admitted that she took her eyes off the road, as she kissed Curtis while behind the wheel of the car-although it took a while.
Chase really told on himself with his poor Willow and big bad Brook Lynn attitude, and Ned picked up on it.
When Ned asked Chase again, after Chase told him to stay out of his marriage, if he was upset that Brook Lynn framed someone, Chase didn’t really answer.
But the look on Chase’s face said everything when Ned rephrased the question, was he mad because Brook Lynn had framed Willow?!
