General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) will be crushed when Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) initiates a divorce!

Brook Lynn tells Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) she wants to save her marriage, while elsewhere, Chase is talking to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) saying he’s considering ending  his marriage!

Tracy Had Previously Talked To Alexis About A Divorce For Brook Lynn

Tracy had previously talked to Alexis about a divorce for Brook Lynn; but Alexis told her she couldn’t start divorce proceedings unless Brook Lynn herself requested it.

Tracy tried, because she never has thought Chase good enough for her granddaughter, and wanted to make sure that Brook Lynn had sole custody of Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton). 

Again, Alexis told her that she couldn’t start divorce paperwork based on Tracy’s pleas, not even when she told her Chase was fooling around with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

So imagine what Alexis will think when Chase shows up to talk to her about getting a divorce from Brook Lynn! He tracks her down at the Metro Court Gardens.

Chase Focused More On Willow’s Being Framed And Victimized By Brook Lynn To Ned

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth)  noticed that Chase focused more on Willow’s being framed and victimized by his daughter, than Brook Lynn herself and her regret about how she’d handled things.

Brook Lynn had known for months that she was the other driver who Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) barely missed on Route 91, and Brook Lynn swerved to avoid her.

Tracy was a big part of covering up the near miss, even though Brook Lynn wanted to come clean to Chase for several months.

No doubt Alexis will notice Chase’s focus on Willow herself, understanding now where Tracy gets her impressions  that Chase is if not actually cheating, really close to doing so.

Alexis Reassures Chase, Brook Lynn Is Crushed To Get The Papers

Alexis reassures Chase she can handle the request, having now seen where Tracy was coming from, and no longer needing Brook Lynn’s input.

In the meantime, Tracy will reassure Brook Lynn that if she really thinks her marriage can be saved, she’ll back her. But Alexis can likely see where Chase’s loyalties lie-with Willow-and she starts the paperwork for Chase.

Brook Lynn is crushed to see that Chase has initiated a divorce when she receives the papers, and she’ll likely want to delay signing-but she must make sure she keeps Phoebe.

No doubt Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will advise her on the child custody, and drive home the point Chase shouldn’t expose Phoebe to Willow, and he’s sure he will!
