According to the Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t want to sit around their mansion in the Cotswolds and do absolutely nothing.

They do want to go out and do all the things they did before they pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family back in 2020 to become financially independent royals in America.

But here’s the thing: no one said that they are allowed back in the royal fold. As of press time, the King of England has made it clear that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to be treated like private citizens while they are in the UK.

That might also be the reason why so many people are accusing the Sussexes of already putting on royal cos-play, so to speak.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “‘Harry and Meghan’s philanthropic activities are so close to the royal playbook.

They go on royal tours abroad, they lay wreaths, they meet local consular staff, they make speeches which closely echo sentiments expressed by the King.”

The insider also added, “Now that they are back in Britain, can the public really be expected to remember that Harry is a member of the Royal Family, who is acting like a working royal, but isn’t? It feels like nonsense.”

That said, all the criticism isn’t deterring Harry and Meghan from doing the things they want to do, anyway.

The tipster also said, “I think they’re both feeling largely very positive and are really excited about the new chapter. They have minimal plans between now and Christmas and the aim is to be quiet.”
