Good Witch’ Star Catherine Bell Joins Major Christmas Mystery Show In Its Third Season

Let’s be honest, who can ever grow bored of seeing Catherine Bell on their screens, even though she starred in ‘Good Witch’ across seven seasons and multiple spinoffs?

Not us, by the way. And that’s why we’re first in line to announce that Catherine Bell will be starring in the third season of ‘Mistletoe Murders.’

Premiering on October 31 on Hallmark Channel, ‘Mistletoe Murders’ captured the hearts of audiences, thanks to its fast-paced and captivating plotlines.

The show’s description reads, “Christmas shop owner Emily Lane uses secret skills to investigate a murder when a poisoned cookie links her to the crime; Detective Sam Wilner navigates the holidays with daughter Violet.”

Played by Sarah Drew, Emily Lane soon gets into the habit of solving local crimes from her shop, and the rest, as they say, is history.

While the show has welcomed many a-worthy Hallmark stars in the past, think Peter Mooney and Aaron Ashmore, this time around, they’ve gotten THE Bell to step into the mystery.

But don’t be fooled by her charm as ‘Good Witch’s’ Cassie Nightingale. This enchantress is no stranger to crime scenes, having made guest appearances on ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ and ‘Good Morning Killer.’

For her ‘Mistletoe Murders’ debut, Bell will be appearing in the first two episodes of the show’s third season, which is set to premiere on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Bell will play the wife of a Christmas chairman in the show, per details shared by Ken Cuperus. However, the show’s twist will reportedly have fans believing “she may be a black widow killer.”

This is coming after Bell reunited with ‘Good Witch’ co-stars James Denton and Bailee Madison (who played Cassie’s daughter, Grace Russell) at MEGACON in Orlando, Florida. At the time she teased the reunion with the heartwarming caption, “Been way too long!! My heart is full.”
