General Hospital Preview: Sonny’s Setup Explodes – Dante Finds Damning Evidence

Dante uncovers evidence that points straight to Sonny after the brutal prison attack. But a suspicious clue suggests his father may be getting framed. Charlotte also lashes out at Valentin over her punishment.

It shows Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) blaming her father. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) suspects Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is guilty.

Plus, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) asks Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) to give her a reality check. Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the ABC soap opera.

Sharing Bad News

Let’s start off with the beginning of the preview clip. In the first scene, we have Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) meeting with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

Rocco will warn Danny that Charlotte is in big trouble. Rocco doesn’t know about the boarding school plan yet, but he knows there are going to be huge consequences for the blonde.

The teenager is out of control. However, sending her to boarding school seems to just be making her someone else’s problem. How about dealing with the core issue? 

Blame Game

The next scenes show Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).

The duo watch as Charlotte freaks out over the boarding school decision. The teenager blames Valentin and says she is only doing what her father taught her to do. 

The girl really needs to learn to take some accountability. Nobody forced her hand and she’s old enough to know better. If she doesn’t learn her lesson, I worry about what kind of adult she will turn into.

Reality Check Request

General Hospital spoilers for Monday, September 28 reveal that the preview clip also shows Carly showing up to see Lucas. The blonde declares that she needs a reality check, and Lucas is the one to give it to her.

Prison Beating Suspect

Over with Dante, he will have a hushed conversation with Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about the prison beating. The security tapes will indicate that Vito and Sully met before the attack.

When Dante realizes both men work for Sonny, he will suspect that his father was responsible for Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) attack.

However, it seems pretty clear (at least to me) that Sonny is being framed. Right before the attack, one of the men reportedly invoked Sonny’s name, “This is for Sonny Corinthos” or something to that effect.

That was the first clue that someone was setting Sonny up. Could it be Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)?

A Woman’s Realization

Finally, we have Sonny and Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor). The two will be in bed together as the lady wonders if they are more exposed than they realize.
