Robert And Anna’s Reunion In The 1990s

Back in 1990, Anna found herself compelled to feign an engagement with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)  as a protective measure for Robert, Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough), and Sean Donely (John Reilly).

Robert vehemently opposed this strategy, leading to heated confrontations between the two.

Determined to settle their dispute once and for all, Anna took matters into her own hands-she seduced Robert, restrained him, and unleashed everything she’d been holding back.

What neither anticipated was that beneath all the tension, their dormant emotions would ignite. Both realized they still harbored deep feelings for each other.

Anna And Robert Vanish After The Explosion

Recognizing the spark between them, Robert and Anna chose to pursue their rekindled romance and acknowledged they were still in love.

Come 1991, they exchanged vows in a breathtaking celebration at Lila Quartermaine’s Shakespearean Garden, nestled within Port Charles’s Botanical Society grounds.

Tragically, their joyful reunion proved fleeting when Faison abducted Anna. Even with Robert’s ex-wife Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) unexpected return, who’d been presumed dead, Robert prioritized finding Anna and departed town to locate her.

By 1992, Robert and Anna were believed dead following an explosion during their escape attempt from Faison; in reality, both survived the blast and vanished into seclusion, each unaware that the other had made it out alive.

Could Tristan Be Their Secret Son?

Tristan is about the age that he could have been conceived during this time, and similarly to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Cassius Faison’s (Ryan Paevey) story, Faison could have kidnapped him when Anna gave birth.

On the other hand, Anna was in a coma for a while and it could have happened then-somehow, Tristan winding up in Australia and possibly having been adopted.

Tristan would be the right age to be between Robin and Leora Hayward, (uncast baby) Anna’s baby with David Hayward (Vincent Irizarry) in Pine Valley who died.

It’s also very possible that the late Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) who knew Anna back in spy school, along with Robert, and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) knew about this.

He and Tristan seemed to know each other very well when Jack made a visit to GH, to see how Tristan was doing.
