General Hospital Spoilers: Willow’s Risky Power Play, Baines Fights Back & Drew Makes Her Pay?

Willow is determined to use her influence to help Nina get out of Steinmauer. However, William Baines may not respond to pressure the way Brennan did. Willow’s risky strategy could create an entirely new crisis.

General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Pulls Some Strings-But Will They Snap Back At Her?General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Congresswoman Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will pull some strings this week on the ABC soap.

But might the strings she tries to pull to free her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) from Steinmauer snap back at her?

5 Key Takeaways

  • Willow tries to help free Nina
  • Valentin previously advised Willow to make herself valuable to the WSB
  • Willow could attempt to pressure Baines
  • Drew may have damaging information to use against Willow
  • Brennan’s black box could become important again

Valentin Told Her To Make Herself Indispensable To The WSB

When Willow asked advice of Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart), he told her to make herself indispensable to the WSB; she’d kind of already done that previously.

But the way she went about it wasn’t going to get her very far-Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) was throwing caution to the wind regarding her, shortly before he died.

She was blackmailing him with pulling her congressional strings at the appropriation committee, threatening to cut the United States WSB’s funding.

Brennan warned Nina not to let Willow manipulate her or pull her down with her, and that’s what precipitated the argument that was a key piece of evidence that sent Nina down the river!

That, and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) “helping things along” by breaking into her car and putting Jack’s wallet in it!

William Baines Is Smarter Than That

If Willow tries the same thing on Acting WSB Station Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) that she did on Brennan, Baines is smarter than that-and Willow might find herself as her mother’s cellmate!

It won’t matter a bit to Baines whether Willow is in Congress or not, a bribe is a bribe, and blackmail is blackmail, and the WSB is a government entity just like the FBI!

The WSB isn’t subject to Miranda Rights, that is only applicable to civilian police departments, not to national government entities and certainly not to worldwide ones.  There is no “due process” or court dates, it’s straight to the slammer, with a presumption of guilt, not innocence!

Drew Could Help That Process Along Too, All He Has To Do Is Tell Baines What He Knows

Drew could help that process along too, all he has to do is tell Baines what he knows-and what Willow did to him for all those months.

He also knows that she shot him twice-and with the WSB, it won’t matter that she’s been tried for the crime and found not guilty-double jeopardy doesn’t apply either!

Drew could really throw a wrench in the works, where both Nina’s and Willow’s freedom are concerned!

The only problem either Willow or Drew have as far as what Brennan had on the both of them is concerned, is no one found his black box after Valentin returned it to him. Guess who has it now-Baines, of course, in the WSB Field Station office!
