Is someone trying to destroy King Charles’s legacy? That’s what a lot of royalists on both sides of the pond can’t help but wonder when it comes to the King of England as a new book is making him look like a petty and jealous person whose only concern is how popular he is.

That’s all because Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, has released a book called ‘Swan Song’ and let’s just say that it doesn’t paint King Charles in a good light at all.

That said though, some people think that the timing of the release of the book is no accident. Many of King Charles’s own allies in his personal book think that Charles Spencer might be raging behind closed doors, or even jealous himself, just because King Charles is such a popular figure in the public these days.

However, one source close to the situation told Daily Mail that many royal insiders are dismissing Spencer’s claims.

“That’s like an arsonist trying to sell you a fire hose and about as convincing as all those others close to Diana who’ve cashed in on her confidences over the years,” the insider said, adding, “Why couldn’t they all have just let her rest in peace? That would have been the decent thing to have done.”

Clearly, many royalists on both sides of the aisle had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “This business about how Charles Spencer should let Diana rest in peace. Do they mean let her rest in peace like all the pro-Charles royalists have done with their hundreds of books trashing her?”

Another critic wrote, “I think Spencer would never have released the book when the queen was still alive. Nor even pondered doing that And he had his notes all ready and in a safe place.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Let Diana rest in peace? Lmao, if I believe anything it’s that Diana would fully approve of her brother setting the record straight and if anything she’s more at peace now knowing that Charles Windsor is getting exposed for being the vile, self centered, jealous, gaslighting, tantrum throwing toddler he has always been.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
