Liar, Liar Pants On Fire – Meghan Markle Called Out By Buckingham Palace

As many now know, news and tabloid headlines have screamed over and again that Meghan Markle felt “unprotected” by Queen Elizabeth and The Firm as publications began putting out negative stories about her behavior and more. All this became known as Meghan’s allegations came to light recently during her lawsuit against Associated Newspapers. Now, however, Buckingham Palace is pushing back against these charges … hard.

Some of the complaints revealed in Meghan’s lawsuit included statements that show the Duchess of Sussex apparently believes the Crown plays favorites. Indeed, Meghan evidently believes that everyone loves Kate Middleton, but those same people carry hidden bigotry toward her. For example, “Insiders” reported that Meghan believed that Kate Middleton, “snaps her fingers” and everyone in The Firm jumps to do her bidding. Of course, one might point out that Meghan seems to forget that Kate Middleton is in line to be the Queen one day, while she is not.

In any case, Buckingham Palace has put the lie to Meghan’s whiny tantrum by pointing out the many times The Firm publicly came to Meghan’s aid. Indeed, on occasion after occasion, the British Royal family stood up to the press on behalf of Meghan in a manner that many consider unheard of. That is, The Firm’s public relations department defended Meghan each and every time they were able to conclusively prove that a claim made in the press was false.

The kicker, and unfortunately for Meghan, the Royal Family’s PR department couldn’t effectively “protect” the duchess when all evidence pointed to a given story’s veracity. In other words, if the story was blatantly true, Buckingham Palace wasn’t going to shamelessly lie in order to cover up Meghan’s horrible behavior.

Just some of the times The Firm did safeguard Meghan though are the following: In 2016 the palace scolded British publications, by and large, publicly castigating them for abusing and harassing the Duchess of Sussex. In 2018, tabloids ran a story about Meghan pressuring Harry to ditch a Royal hunting trip.

The Firm went out on Meghan’s behalf and categorically denied the report. Later, in the months that followed some of these same publications ranted on breathlessly about the supposed “behind the scenes” fighting to go on between Meghan and Kate Middleton. This too, Queen Elizabeth ensured was put to rest.

In light of these facts, it appears that rumors of Meghan Markle’s penchant for doing everything possible to bring attention to herself, even by biting the hand that feeds her are true. It also raises the specter of more tension between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Buckingham Palace. Queen Elizabeth cannot be too happy about the fact that Meghan is dragging the British Royal family through the mud in an incredibly public and political venue.

One has to wonder if perhaps Prince William might not have raised these concerns with Prince Harry during any of their reportedly regular Zoom calls. Surely, there must be someone within the British family that is looking to smooth things out between all parties.

With that said, whether or not Meghan’s court case will harm relations between Prince Harry and his family more than they’ve been damaged already remains to be seen.
