While Tristan passed away in real life, we won’t see him in anything but historical flashbacks, and though we might see Emma as Holly-does Robert die in a plane crash?

Robert And Holly Plan Their Return

Both Robert and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) were in presumed death storylines over the years, as was Holly also. Some of the disappearances were indeed due to plane crashes; others were explosions off ships they were on.

But unfortunately, Robert’s death will be the real deal-and his memorial episode promises to be one with lots of history and flashbacks.

Based on presumed death storylines for Robert in the past, there is a good chance that he may be killed in a plane crash, but nothing’s been announced for Holly.

That will be a wait and see-although according to what Felicia told Anna in October 6th’s episode, their plans are to continue to live in France after their visit.

Will Robert’s Plane Never Reach Port Charles?

Most likely, if there’s a crash it will happen en route to Port Charles from France, which does mean that Holly would be on the plane too-but with Emma Samms living in England, she doesn’t play Holly often.

It could happen that both Robert and Holly would be in the crash, and Anna and others in Port Charles will get the sad news that their plane didn’t make it.

Of course, there is also a possibility that he may just pass away before they make their trip, and Holly will make a phone call-and GH fans will be treated to lots of flashback scenes.

As with the episodes focusing on the late Leslie Charleson and Anthony Geary, the one for Robert Scorpio will most likely focus on memories.

Robert Scorpio’s Emotional Farewell

Longtime fans may wonder if there could be an offscreen adventure leading up to Robert’s death, with him dying a hero-that’s not likely to happen, since offscreen adventures aren’t real popular!

Besides, what a letdown for an exit of an iconic character, when it’s all offscreen and there’ s  nothing there to watch!

The plans so far are Robert and Holly coming to Port Charles so he can officially tie up loose ends as District Attorney, since all this time has been a leave of absence.

But since Tristan Rogers passed away over a year ago, Robert Scorpio’s death will have to be offscreen, so there’s a good chance that the plane never makes it to Port Charles.

Or, the other eventuality is that he dies before he and Holly leave on the trip, and the notification is a phone call, and an episode with a lot of memories and flashbacks.
