General Hospital Spoilers: Nina’s Steinmauer Nightmare – Will She Return Darker Than Ever?General Hospital spoilers suggest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could return from Steinmauer a very changed woman after she experiences some trauma in the WSB prison.

Nina has been through a lot of dark experiences in her life, but nothing like this one, so let’s talk about what fans should expect from the blonde’s return to Port Charles.

Nina Reeves’ Steinmauer Experience

General Hospital spoilers remind fans about how Steinmauer changed Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He came back having lost a tremendous amount of weight and turned his back on the mob world to focus on his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

With that said, Jason is used to a dark world. Not only has his time in organized crime desensitized him to things like murder and death, but he was also a missionary for the FBI, where he saw a lot of things. Imagine what the Steinmauer experience could do to Nina?

Nina’s New Personality

Will Nina return more committed to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) than ever, or will this WSB experience make her realize she never wants to end up on the wrong side of the law again?

Will she give up her job at Crimson? Could she come back from Steinmauer struggling with her mental health?

Could the General Hospital writing team concoct a storyline where Nina was sexually assaulted in the prison, or beaten daily? Did she see someone get killed? The different scenarios are plentiful, considering this is a WSB prison, after all!

Darkness Reigns

Will Nina come back as a stronger, more vile person, or someone who wants to do good? Love or hate Nina, she isn’t the worst person in Port Charles, and generally her moral compass flops because of Willow. Will she want to cut ties with her daughter all together?

Then there’s the idea that Nina’s newfound darkness comes out in full force after she finds out about Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) frame job, and the fact that her “friend” Ava Jerome (Maura West) knew all about it.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and if Nina does experience something highly traumatic, she’ll want to make sure those who sent her to Steinmauer pay.
