Lily Winters Wants Answers

The Young and the Restless preview video for the week of October 12 opens with Lily and her cousin Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Lily tells Nate that she thought cancer was supposed to be something in her past. She questions why she’s dealing with this again and wonders if she’s done something wrong.

The Newman Brothers Are Blindsided

Over at Society, Detective Burrows (Matt Cohen) meets with Nick and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Burrows tells the Newman brothers that authorities located a crashed car outside of town.

No one was found inside the vehicle, but Matt’s fingerprints were discovered in the interior.

Considering Matt was injured in the collision, will the authorities assume that he and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) died?

Matt Clark’s Ambush

As the weekly promo comes to a close, Matt is seen sneaking into Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) cottage on the ranch.

It’s hard not to wonder if Matt has succumbed to his dark side.

He could simply go to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and explain what happened. The Abbott family should also be warned that Patty is on the loose again.

Instead, Matt is creeping into Sharon’s home, which certainly makes it look like he’s up to no good.

Matt sneaking into Sharon’s cottage is a huge red flag for me. After everything Sharon has already survived because of him, I don’t trust his intentions for a second.
