Sheriff Country recap for Friday, October 9, reveals Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) gets wasted after learning that her mother is alive after abandoning her at six years old.
Mickey is still being pushed to work with Wes Fox (W. Earl Brown). Mickey wants no part of either of her parents currently. However, Mickey will find herself forced to work with both of them.

Mickey Fox Makes A Confession
Lieutenant Boone (Matt Lauria) calls Cassidy Campbell (Michelle Weaver) to help him pick up Mickey from a hospital in a neighboring county.
Sheriff Wade (Ben McKenzie) has brought Mickey into his station and kept her hidden until Boone and Cassidy arrive. Boone has left the hospital against medical advice.
Mickey still wants nothing to do with her parents, but she does confess to Boone that she made the wrong choice when he told her how he felt.
Mickey goes to work even though she has a hangover. Mickey’s first call is to an attempted suicide, where she saves a girl but needs help. Cassidy calls Boone to check on Mickey.
Cassidy and Enrique “Hank” Iglesias (Ian Quinlan) are investigating the death of a mother in Edgewater.
They talk about the main suspect and his brother. Cassidy believes her friend is innocent, and Hank disagrees.
This murder took place over 30 years ago. Will Hank and Cassidy be able to crack the case?

Eva Santos Needs Lieutenant Boone’s Help
Eva comes to talk with Mickey and tries to convince her to work with Wes. Mickey refuses, and Eva leaves.
Eva then approaches Boone and gives him her files. Eva asks Boone to read the information before he says he won’t talk to Mickey and sticks to his story.
Will the information Eva gives Boone be enough to convince him to push Mickey to work with her mother?
Punch Elliot (Sean Bell) sees Cassidy and Hank talking with Andy Elliot (Gabe Fazio) and approaches them.
Andy was telling them what happened the night his mother died until Punch arrives.
Andy excuses himself, and Punch tells them they need to leave this alone. However, they want answers to this 30-year-old mystery, and they need them now.
Eva meets with Skye Fraley (Amanda Arcuri) and tells her what happened when she left Wes and Mickey years ago.
Eva was forced to say she was dead because she was a DEA agent before she got with Wes and married him.
Eva says she got Wes out of prison by agreeing to the deal she was given.
Skye wants to know why Eva decided to come back now. Eva needs Mickey and Wes to help her do her job.
Skye tells Eva that she was named after Maria, and now she knows that Maria doesn’t exist.
Skye tells her that as far as she is concerned, Eva doesn’t exist either. Travis Fraley (Christopher Gorham) introduces himself to Eva.
Wes Fox Demands Answers
Wes wants to know if Eva sold them out. Eva says she didn’t.
Wes tells Eva that she broke Mickey’s heart. Eva wants to know how many times Wes has done that.
Boone and Mickey are both at the hospital. The medical examiner tells Mickey and Boone about a new drug that killed an inmate.
Boone tells Mickey about Eva’s files. Mickey and Boone go to talk with the girl who tried to jump off the bridge.
Dale Hawkins (Dylan Taylor) and his daughter are kidnapped, and the drug dealers plan to torch the house they are in.
Mickey shoots one of the dealers, and Boone holds the other one.
Mickey calls for an ambulance for Dale while his daughter tries to free him.

Mickey Fox Gets Needed Answers
Mickey finds out about a house in Deadwater where girls are being held for sex trafficking.
Mickey and Boone discuss the bakery and what is going on there.
Hank and Cassidy arrive and talk to Andy about the neighbor.
This woman has told Hank and Cassidy that she and Andy’s mom were not that close. Andy gets upset with Cassidy and leaves.
Hank tells Cassidy about the sheriff bringing Mickey into the office and how drunk she was.
Hank accuses Cassidy of not trusting him. Hank says he told Cassidy as soon as he heard what happened.
Boone goes to the locker room to check on his wound. Boone is bleeding and tries to patch himself up as Mickey tells Eva she will work with them.
Wes is furious with Eva and agrees to work with her anyway because of Mickey.
Wes says this is going to be a trip.
One of the girls escapes, but she is then injected with drugs once she is caught.
The girl is dragged back to the house where the girls are being exploited.
