General Hospital Preview October 13: Drew’s Revenge Plot & Sonny’s Dire Warning

General Hospital preview for Tuesday, October 13, reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) makes a bold move, while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) delivers a surprising update.

Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) faces some tough choices, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) issues a serious warning.

Key Takeaways

  • Drew plots his next move against Lulu
  • Dante offers Lulu troubling information
  • Valentin seeks help for Josslyn
  • Sonny warns Josslyn about danger
  • Josslyn refuses to back down

Drew’s Bold Move

After his fiery confrontation with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) at her home over the exposé-style interview she conducted, Drew confides in Ava Jerome (Maura West) about his next move.

He reveals that he’s developed a calculated strategy for dealing with Lulu.

His main concern has been whether her revelations might encourage others to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) death.

Ava previously warned Drew that if she faced repercussions connected to Brennan’s death, he could become entangled in the investigation as well.

As previously reported, Drew has plenty of reasons to fear Lulu’s exposé.

However, that concern now seems to be taking a back seat as Drew focuses on getting revenge against Lulu.

Will his latest scheme create even more trouble for him?

Dante’s Surprising Update

Meanwhile, Dante arrives at Lulu’s home and walks her through the details of her article, which relied on information provided by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Sidwell has disputed the statements attributed to him, creating a serious problem for Lulu as she tries to defend her reporting.

Dante may be able to offer some reassurance, but proving what Sidwell actually said could be difficult.

Drew also has knowledge of Sidwell’s dealings with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), including a previous visit to his residence.

However, Drew seems unlikely to rush forward with information that could help Lulu.

One might expect him to want Sidwell exposed, but Drew appears far more interested in protecting himself and punishing Lulu.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, the article has already gone viral.

As the October 9 recap revealed, Sidwell’s denials and Chase’s push for a lawsuit have made Lulu’s situation even more complicated.

Valentin’s Tough Choices

Still at the Metro Court following Sidwell’s auction, Valentin asks Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) whether she can help Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Carly previously approached Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about getting Josslyn out of the WSB, but Anna’s options appear limited.

Carly suggests that Anna may be better positioned to help than she is.

Valentin could decide that speaking directly with Anna is his best option, whether he approaches her alone or with Carly.

However, convincing Anna to intervene may be easier said than done.

As previously reported by Soap Opera Spy, Anna has already rejected Carly’s request involving Josslyn.

Will Valentin have better luck persuading her?

Sonny Delivers a Warning

Meanwhile, Sonny warns Josslyn that she’s putting herself in danger.

With Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) standing beside her in the auction room, Josslyn defiantly responds, “You can’t stop me!”

Sonny may be trying to leave his mob connections behind, but the battle over his former piers could still attract dangerous players.

Selina Wu (Lydia Look) has also shown interest in the property, and her history with organized crime makes the situation especially concerning.

Those piers represent more than a business opportunity. They could also provide valuable control over territory that once belonged to Sonny.

Josslyn may believe she has everything under control, but Sonny knows how quickly these situations can turn dangerous.

Will she listen to his warning, or is she about to learn a painful lesson?

Annemarie’s Take

I have to say, Drew’s obsession with getting even with Lulu is becoming ridiculous. He knows far more about this situation than he’s willing to admit, yet he’s determined to make Lulu the villain.

And don’t even get me started on Josslyn!

She’s so focused on bringing Sonny down that she doesn’t seem to care about the consequences. I think she’s playing a dangerous game, and using her father’s company to settle a personal score could come back to haunt her.

Sonny may have made plenty of mistakes over the years, but that doesn’t mean he’s wrong about the danger Josslyn is facing.

Do you think Josslyn will regret going after Sonny, or is Drew the one heading for the biggest downfall?
