The Arrest

The Daily Mail UK confirmed that she was definitely arrested, so despite many TLC fans denying it ever happened, sadly, it did. The outlet noted that records from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office showed her official mugshot.

As she was smiling in the mugshot, that might have made some 7 Little Johnstons fans think that Anna Johnston was just joking around.

UNILAD confirmed the arrest and wrote, “The 26-year-old reality television personality was booked on DUI charges over the weekend following a late-night traffic stop, according to law enforcement records.”

What Happened?

Plenty of bigger outlets covered the story, and TMZ reported that “Anna was arrested in Georgia on Saturday after cops saw her car parked on the side of the highway and investigated.”

It appears that Anna, who is dating Jeffrey Messervy, was in the car with him and his cousin when an argument broke out. They claimed that the argument started because she was drinking alcohol and insisted on driving.

However, when he told the police his concerns, Anna allegedly told the cops they were simply arguing about GPS directions.

Nevertheless, as noted by Starcasm, “The cops noticed multiple indications that Anna had been drinking, including slurred speech, smelling of alcohol, and ‘she was slightly unsteady on her feet.'”

The outlet added, “A preliminary breath test showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.139%, well above Georgia’s legal limit of 0.08%.”

Jeffrey Was Also Arrested

Although he wasn’t charged with DUI, Jeffrey Messervy was also arrested. Why was that? Well, it turned out that he was wanted in another state, so he was initially detained at Houston County Jail before being transferred to Bibb County Jail.

There, he was held on forgery charges on a bond of $47,350, per Starcasm.
