First, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) wanted her daughter to seduce Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) Deception shares out of him, but that didn’t work out.

Then, after she found out Serena had gotten friendly with Jason during a falcon nest relocation, she wanted her to try the same tactic on him!

Lucy said she didn’t get where she was through honesty and hard work, but that wasn’t a news flash to Serena.

As previously reported, Lucy has been determined to regain control of Deception, and she’s not above using her daughter to get what she wants.

So, Serena decided to simply rush Jason through what she described as a boilerplate document that urgently needed his signature, and she brought it on a tablet.

An electronic signature would seal the deal, but Jason wasn’t going to sign off on an absence excuse for a kindergarten student without reading it!

Jason Wanted To Know Exactly What She Needed His Signature On

Jason is taking care of Deception as well as Aurora Media while Michael and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) are in Baden-Baden.

He’s helping with ELQ as well and cooperating with Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) request to take some of the stress off Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

In fact, Jason’s growing involvement in the Quartermaine family businesses could put him in an interesting position as Lucy continues her scheming.

Just because Jason was Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) hitman for the greater part of his life doesn’t mean he doesn’t know anything about how legitimate businesses are run!

So Jason won’t sign off on anything until he knows exactly what Serena wants him to sign.

Apparently, they have a little go-round, as he tells her she has one more chance to come clean!

Serena likely does come clean and might even tell Jason about her mother’s pressure to get the rest of the Deception shares back, since it was her company to begin with.

Jason will likely put an overseas call into Michael to get his okay before he makes an offer to Lucy on Wednesday’s episode.

Of course, Lucy’s earlier attempt to use Serena to get Michael’s Deception shares didn’t go as planned, so she may be running out of options.

Because Tracy is so involved in the company, however, Jason might have to do some fancy financial footwork unless he figures out a way to bypass her!

But it does look like, if he makes an offer to Lucy, that he thinks they can work something out.

Jason may be channeling more of his inner Quartermaine, but that doesn’t mean he agrees with the bad parts of the family!

Lucy should know better than to think Jason would blindly sign anything, especially when Michael’s interests are involved!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jason turns the tables on Lucy and comes up with a deal she never expected. Serena may have gotten herself into quite a mess by listening to her mother!
