General Hospital Weekly Preview Oct 19-23: Dangerous Betrayal, Scandalous Hookup, Custody Bombshell & Deadly Secrets

General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, October 19, through Friday, October 23, tease juicy gossip, custody battles, and backstabbing exes!

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) shares juicy gossip, while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) doesn’t want to be in a custody battle, and Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) figuratively stabs Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the back!

Juicy Gossip

Britt is at the hospital with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), where she spills some juicy gossip!

She tells him about something that happened four times, and Lucas is stunned.

He says, “Four times! I need the details!”

The scene cuts to what appears to be the Brown Dog Bar, where she’s wrapped up in a tight clinch with the mysterious stranger who’s landed in Port Charles.

That would be Jude (Wil Traval), and we’ll just leave the details up to your imagination.

Custody Battle

Elsewhere, Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) advises Chase, telling him, “We need to prepare for the worst-case scenario!”

Chase protests, telling her he doesn’t want a battle.

Given that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is now entering the room, followed by Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), we have to assume this is a custody battle he’s referring to.

No one will be surprised if Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) follows Brook Lynn and Ric into the room, where it appears to be a private hearing, not a courtroom.

Ric being Brook Lynn’s representation, however, is a bit of a surprise!

Of course, Chase’s involvement with Willow could complicate his custody battle, especially with his marriage to Brook Lynn already falling apart.

Backstabbing Exes

Justine appears to be in her office, where she is discussing an offer with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

She is figuratively stabbing her ex-lover in the back as she tells a smirking Drew that she won’t give up until Sonny is behind bars!

Little does she know that Drew had a big hand in bribing Vito Coronado (Jason Paul Field) to make sure that exactly that happens!

General Hospital fans already know that Drew is up to his ears in framing Sonny for the Pentonville attacks that not only seriously injured Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) but also Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).

Curtis was collateral damage since he jumped in on his own, trying to save Sidwell’s life.

As viewers will recall, Justine previously ended her relationship with Sonny after refusing to believe his denials.

Now, it seems she’s more determined than ever to put him behind bars.

Sonny Tasks Jason

In the meantime, Sonny tasks Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with an investigative assignment.

He tells Jason to find out whatever he can, and Jason agrees.

Sonny wants to find out who exactly framed him for the attacks at Pentonville, and Jason apparently has a good idea who it is.

Jason is shown looking someone straight in the eye as he asks, “Did you frame Sonny for it?”

But the question remains: Who, out of half of Port Charles, might Jason be interrogating?

After all, Ava and Drew’s suspicious dealings surrounding the Pentonville attack have already raised questions about who is really behind Sonny’s troubles.

Annemarie’s Take

I really hope Jason finally figures out who framed Sonny!

I’m getting tired of watching everyone turn against him when Drew is the one pulling the strings.

And Justine? I’m especially disappointed in her.

I actually liked Sonny and Justine together, but now she’s determined to put him behind bars without knowing the whole story.

I can’t wait for Drew’s involvement to come out. He’s gotten away with far too much already.

As for Chase, I think he’s making his custody situation much more complicated than it needs to be.

And Britt’s encounter with Jude certainly sounds interesting! I’m curious to see where that storyline goes.
