General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, October 21, reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) makes an offer that could change everything, while Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) has a question that needs answers.
Additionally, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) offers Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) some wise counsel.
Key Takeaways
- Jason makes Lucy a surprising proposal.
- Stella demands action on a hospital problem.
- Molly faces a life-changing career decision.
- Cody refuses to accept rejection.
- Jude raises red flags, while Valentin advises Anna.
Jason’s Offer
Jason, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), and her daughter Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) are presumably gathered at the Deception offices when Jason presents his proposal.
General Hospital fans will recall that Serena tried a cunning maneuver, but Jason refused to be pressured into signing any document that would give her control over Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) proxy.
As previously reported, Jason caught Serena attempting to deceive him over the Deception shares.
He now extends an offer to Lucy, who has been working to reclaim authority in the company she established.
Lucy asks Jason, “How long do I have before Tracy (Quartermaine, played by Jane Elliot) forces me out of my own company?”
The question suggests Jason has devised a mutually beneficial arrangement that he intends to present to Lucy.
Stella Takes Action On A Persistent Issue
Inside her office at General Hospital, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) shifts into problem-solving mode while conferring with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
Stella makes it clear that an ongoing issue demands immediate attention and correction.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) continues to draw scrutiny with her problematic behavior, and despite being on thin ice professionally, her conduct outside work alone may not be grounds for dismissal.
However, Britt appears to be testing boundaries with her scheduled hours once more, potentially arriving significantly late for her shift.
With repeated warnings to improve or face consequences, Britt may finally be facing disciplinary action—or even dismissal!
Molly Has A Question That Needs Answers
Elsewhere, Molly approaches her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), at the law offices with an important question.
She’s grappling with a significant career opportunity but feels conflicted and seeks her mother’s perspective.
With a hopeful expression, Molly asks, “How can I possibly turn it down?”
According to fall previews for the ABC soap, Molly has received an exciting opportunity to climb the ranks within the District Attorney’s office.
This pivotal moment could define her professional trajectory. Will she seize this chance?
Cody Reconnects With Tracy
Meanwhile, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) manages to catch up with Tracy, and she might just be the one hearing his determined declaration that he won’t accept rejection!
Alternatively, could he be sharing something with Tracy that he previously discussed with Molly?
According to fall previews, Molly’s exciting new opportunity could force her to make a difficult farewell to Cody.
Is Cody prepared to take the leap and propose to Molly, making her his bride?
Regrettably, heartbreak may be waiting for him instead!
Trustworthy? Me? Hardly!
Meanwhile, Jude (Wil Traval) and Britt continue their extended evening escapade in his Metro Court room.
It appears Britt might be questioning whether she can rely on him, to which he replies, “When have I ever claimed to be trustworthy?”
Still wrapped in their robes and likely enjoying one too many drinks, Britt may struggle to make it to her shift!
As Britt’s unexpected romance with Jude continues to heat up, his mysterious behavior could become a cause for concern.
Though his tone is playful and flirtatious, he seems to be dropping a hint. Perhaps trustworthiness isn’t his strong suit!
Maybe Britt should keep her defenses up?
Valentin’s Wise Counsel
Meanwhile, at Valentin’s residence, he offers guidance to Anna, expressing his conviction that something represents a grave error in judgment.
Valentin is supporting Anna through her therapeutic journey, as he remains one of just two individuals who were present during her harrowing experiences with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Fortunately, Anna has now managed to distinguish between her authentic memories and those belonging to her twin sister, Alex Devane (Finola Hughes).
This breakthrough was made possible by their participation as the first pair of twins in a groundbreaking memory-transfer experiment.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) played a crucial role in helping her untangle that complex situation, while Valentin now helps her process the traumatic Faison chapter of her past.
As Valentin’s involvement in Anna’s recovery continues to raise questions, could the grave mistake involve her attempt to help Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)?
Or is Valentin worried about something else entirely?
Annemarie’s Take
I’m very curious about Jason’s offer to Lucy! After Serena’s sneaky attempt to get Michael’s proxy, I wouldn’t blame Jason for refusing to trust either woman.
But Jason usually has a reason for making a deal, and I suspect Tracy isn’t going to like whatever he’s planning.
As for Molly, I hope she thinks carefully before making a decision that could affect her relationship with Cody.
And Britt? I think she’s playing with fire!
Jude may be charming, but when a man practically admits he can’t be trusted, I’d take that warning seriously.
Which storyline are you most interested in—Jason’s surprise offer, Molly’s difficult decision, or Jude’s mysterious intentions toward Britt?
