Halloween In Salem

Days of Our Lives’ promo for the week of October 26 starts off with some Halloween fun!

Foster (Miles Anderson) will attempt to “scare” Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) with a werewolf mask; however, he’ll just get a laugh out of her as she wishes him a “Happy Halloween.”

Kristen will embrace the spookiness in Salem as she dons a masquerade mask over her eyes and wears a black cape; however, she is in costume more to hide her true identity than anything else.

Of course, Kristen has already been keeping secrets, especially after striking a deal with Sophia Choi. What is she planning now?

Sophia Choi’s Risky Move

Across town, Sophia will reach out to Mason via the help line. The weekly preview shows him wearing his headset as he trains Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).

Mason asks the caller, “Tell me why you called today?” as the scene shifts to Sophia in her motel room.

She stammers as she says, “I just needed someone to talk to.”

Holly’s reaction to Sophia’s voice indicates that the blonde likely recognizes the voice on the other line.

With Sophia’s return to Salem already creating complications, could Holly finally discover the truth?

Over to Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), he’ll warn Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) to never give EJ the benefit of the doubt.

Steve goes on to say, “You might NOT live to regret it.”

EJ DiMera’s Bloody Mystery

As the Days of Our Lives weekly preview video continues, EJ walks into the DiMera mansion living room, looking guilty.

He looks down at his hand, and his sleeve cuff is covered in blood.

After this clip, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is shown running up to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) in a panic.

Xander was shot while trying to protect Sarah during the Friday, October 23 episode, and this scene is likely the aftermath of the shooting.

It seems as if Xander is having trouble breathing in the video. Will he be okay?

The promo shifts back to EJ in the DiMera living room.

He screams, “Damn you!” and throws a book near Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait, and it lands in the fireplace.

The final clip is of EJ, who is seething with anger, as the preview closes.

Annemarie’s Take

EJ showing up with blood on his sleeve certainly raises some questions! Could he be connected to Xander’s shooting, or is the preview deliberately making him look guilty? And Kristen sneaking around in a Halloween disguise is never a good sign. Something tells me Salem’s Halloween celebrations are going to be anything but peaceful!
