General Hospital Spoilers: Carly & Valentin Caught at Brennan’s Grave – Arrest Nightmare Explodes?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could be in a heap of trouble this week on the ABC soap.

Will they be able to talk Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) out of arresting them?

Key Takeaways

• Carly and Valentin head to the nature preserve after Outback brings home a finger
• Danny tells Jason that Jack Brennan is dead
• Joe catches Carly and Valentin at the burial site
• The pair could face trespassing charges or even arrest
• Questions arise over WSB, PCPD, and park jurisdiction

Carly And Valentin Went To The Nature Preserve After Outback Brought Home A Finger

After Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) came clean to Valentin and Carly about him and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) finding Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) body, Outback brought home a finger.

Danny had asked about Outback when Valentin and Carly arrived, mentioning she’d been roaming over to the nature preserve and coming back dirty several times.

Valentin and Carly told him not to tell anyone about this, but the General Hospital preview video for Monday, November 2’s episode shows Danny telling his dad.

Specifically, he tells him that he knows without a shadow of a doubt that Brennan is dead.

As the October 30 recap revealed, Outback’s gruesome discovery led Carly and Valentin straight to the nature preserve.

The preview also shows Valentin and Carly at the burial site with Joe shining a flashlight on them and asking if they know they’re trespassing—with a four-fingered man’s hand sticking up!

I Think We Just Found Jack Brennan!

One can easily imagine Carly and Valentin telling Joe, “I think we just found Jack Brennan,” and explaining the adventures—or perhaps that should be, the misadventures—of Outback.

Valentin, with his WSB spy training, may just tell Joe that they were simply following the clues after Outback brought the finger, and point down at the four-fingered hand sticking up!

On the other hand, Joe may think they’re returning to the scene of the crime—even though he was sure that Ava Jerome (Maura West) was involved. He’d already questioned Carly before.

As Carly’s earlier questioning by Joe showed, the detective was already suspicious of what happened the night Brennan disappeared.

Both the WSB and the PCPD are now reinvestigating the case, especially since, up until now, the body hadn’t been found.

They Have A Print To ID With—Still Attached To A Finger!

Most likely, the finger is either at the Quartermaines’ with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Danny at this point, although there’s no doubt it belongs to the four-fingered hand.

At the very least, Valentin and Carly could be cited for trespassing; at worst, they could be under arrest.

There could be a question of jurisdiction, considering WSB Station Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) had already warned the PCPD to stay away from the case—and on the nature preserve, there may be park rangers.

Joe may indeed not be able to arrest Carly and Valentin on the nature preserve land. Besides, there’s no proof that they buried the body; why would they go back?

As the November 2 spoilers suggest, Joe’s discovery could put Carly and Valentin in a very difficult position.

For sure, they’ll be expected to come in for questioning, and whichever version of CSI will be called—whether that be WSB, PCPD, or the Park Service!

Annemarie’s Take

Well, Carly and Valentin certainly picked the wrong time to go digging around the nature preserve! With Joe catching them right beside Brennan’s body, they’re going to have some serious explaining to do.

I wonder whether Joe will believe their story about Outback or decide they’re hiding something much bigger!
