Key Takeaways

• Dominic arrives in Salem and reveals his secret agenda
• Chloe Lane’s return could bring a new face and a Brady reunion
• Johnny and Chanel may prepare to leave Salem
• Stephanie faces a secret as her feud with Joy intensifies
• Xander and Sarah go on the run while Leo faces a medical crisis

Dominic Marino Leaves His Mark

Days of Our Lives’ promo opens with Dominic meeting his brother EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

He’ll enter Brady’s Pub, introduce himself, and let him know that they are brothers. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will be present and shocked.

It appears that Dominic will be there for Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) memorial, so fans should expect to see these scenes in the “days” ahead.

In fact, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) tells Dominic how “father” used to love to pit his children against each other, so there are hints that a feud between Dominic and EJ is on the horizon.

As scenes shift, it looks like Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will let Xander know about Dominic’s arrival while he’s still in the hospital.

Xander will get unnerved at the thought of another DiMera in town and be wary that Dominic is planning an attack on the Kiriakis family, too.

Then there’s Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd), who will tell Belle Black (Martha Madison) that it won’t be long before someone draws blood. Yikes!

Dom and EJ are sure to clash hard this fall and winter.

Dominic and Marlena will share some sweet moments as Dominic declares he finally feels like he’s home.

With that said, it won’t be long before Dom reveals his agenda, so it’ll be interesting to see what he’s really up to.

Meanwhile, Dominic’s possible DiMera takeover could cause even more problems for EJ.

Sofia Mattsson’s Playing Chloe Lane?

In some exciting developments, the Days of Our Lives promo for the fall/winter season has fueled speculation that Sofia Mattsson is the Chloe Lane recast.

Chloe’s returning to Salem soon, with reunion hopes as she and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) share a passionate kiss in the preview.

How will Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) take it? The girl is also shown in the video lamenting how everyone that she loves keeps leaving her.

As speculation about Sofia Mattsson taking over the role of Chloe continues, fans are wondering what her return could mean for Brady.

A twosome that won’t make it? Philip and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), so fans of this supercouple are in for some sad times!

In addition, Chad and Belle are caught arguing in one segment of the promo, as Chad tells Belle he’s over Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), and Belle states she doesn’t believe him.

Janel’s Exit

As the promo continues, Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) will make it clear to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) that she not only wants him out of DiMera Enterprises, but she also wants the family gone from Salem.

So … this is how Janel exits?!

Johnny and EJ will have a harsh goodbye, as Johnny lets him know they are through, for good.

Guess who becomes the new DiMera CEO? None other than Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh), who will clash with EJ over DiMera business shortly after she’s appointed.

Speaking of Sydney, fans should expect romance to brew between her and Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler), as the two are shown canoodling in the promo.

Back to EJ, he’ll figure out that Cat has played him, but it does look like she’ll get some intel on him before he finds this out.

Cat will exclaim that she loves him when he calls her out, but is she being honest?

Meanwhile, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) will tell Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia) how worried she was about her, and the young woman will angrily tell her grandmother to stay out of her life!

As Johnny and Chanel consider a fresh start away from Salem, more changes could be ahead for the DiMera family.

Stephanie Kiriakis’ Secret

Across town, Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) will continue to go toe-to-toe with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins), as the two will share another major clash this fall and winter.

It appears that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will be placed in a situation where he doesn’t know who to believe, Stephanie or Joy.

As the preview progresses, it appears that Stephanie will have a secret that she only shares with her mom, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).

Could the woman be pregnant? Will she find this out after she and Alex potentially break up?

In some feel-good Days spoilers, it looks like Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will head toward a reunion as Abe asks Paulina to move back home.

Still, Abe will have some bad news for his kids, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews), and it seems to be about his health.

Leo Stark’s Bombshell

Days of Our Lives’ fall/winter preview continues on to show Leo telling Xander and Sarah that the Chicago PD is on its way to Salem to arrest him (Xander).

Xander will go on the run, but it looks like Sarah will insist that she and Victoria Kiriakis (Angelica Nero) go with him.

Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) hugs Sarah and then tells Xander to take care of her girls in one scene, as Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Lani walk into the Kiriakis mansion in full cop uniforms in another.

Speaking of Leo, he’ll share a scary moment with Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez).

Leo will be unconscious as Javi begs him to breathe. Will he be okay?

Lastly, the final scene shows Orpheus (George DelHoyo) in a prison suit, stating, “I’ve been expecting you.”

He’s seemingly talking to Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Marlena. The video closes with him saying, “Truth is beyond you.”

Annemarie’s Take

I’m especially interested in Dominic’s secret agenda and what it could mean for EJ and Marlena! But Leo’s frightening moment has me worried, too. And if Chloe really is returning with a new face, that could shake things up for Brady. Which storyline are you most excited about?
