• Josslyn and Jude clash over the Jacks family legacy

Carly And Valentin Arrested

Carly and Valentin discovered Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) body in the nature preserve but chose to leave it there due to Danny and Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) involvement.

As they were leaving, Joe spotted them and called for backup.

While officers excavated the corpse, Joe searched Valentin and uncovered a baggie in his jacket pocket.

After bringing Carly and Valentin to the PCPD, Joe cautioned Valentin that the department would be conducting tests to determine if the residue in the baggie matched the evidence found on the corpse.

Valentin wouldn’t answer any questions without his attorney present.

Martin Arrived, Charlotte’s Bracelet Was Found Snagged On Jack’s Sleeve

When Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) arrived at the station, Valentin informed his attorney that the body belonged to Jack Brennan, but to shield Danny and Charlotte, he declined to disclose how he and Carly had located the body.

Later, Joe received a preliminary identification from the CSI unit confirming that the corpse was indeed Jack Brennan.

Observing that neither Carly nor Valentin appeared shocked, he arrested them, despite Martin’s assertion that there was no evidence connecting them to the body.

Meanwhile, back at the nature preserve, the “C” charm bracelet was discovered attached to Jack’s sleeve!

Danny Came Clean To Jason

At the boathouse, Jason and Danny reflected on Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) during Halloween, the anniversary of her death.

Danny also confessed to his dad about how he and Charlotte stumbled upon Brennan’s body, mentioning that Carly and Valentin were in the loop.

After Danny proposed his theory that Brennan was buried in the nature preserve and that Carly and Valentin were searching for him, Jason quickly made his way to the neighboring property.

Later on, Jason returned with news that the nature preserve was teeming with police officers.

He was certain that Carly and Valentin hadn’t been the ones to alert the police and reiterated to Danny that it was vital for no one else to discover that Danny and Charlotte were connected to Brennan’s death.

The trouble began with Carly and Valentin’s discovery of Brennan’s body.

Heather Showed Up At The Cat’s Eye Lounge

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner), and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) were shocked when Heather Webber (Alley Mills) walked into the Cat’s Eye Lounge, prompting a panicked Trina to accuse her of being the stalker.

Heather denied the accusation, stating she had rented the lounge to speak with Trina.

She revealed that she had come into money from a settlement with a faulty hip replacement manufacturer and wanted to be closer to Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), leading her to buy Wyndemere and stay in Port Charles.

As Heather expressed her desire to reconcile with Trina, Gio, Kai, and Emma supported their friend.

Before departing, Trina warned Heather to stay away or face arrest.

Once alone, Heather picked up a card next to the flowers.

Dante Encountered Elizabeth At The Hospital

Elizabeth was summoned to GH for emergency coverage, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived just in time to see her compassionately tending to a young patient.

Liz noticed him and smiled, but then observed he was limping.

Dante explained that he had chased after a kid who was throwing eggs, and Liz arranged for him to see an orthopedist.

Although they didn’t mention their near-kiss earlier that day at her house, Dante praised Liz for her handling of the patient and kept stealing glances at her as they exchanged playful banter.

Josslyn Called Hudson To Gather Intel On Jude

Josslyn called on Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) to gather intel on her cousin Jude, who was in town claiming baby Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

After hitting a dead end online, Josslyn remembered her father mentioning he’d given Jude “a chance” and emailed HR for her cousin’s employee file.

Hudson suggested they unwind at the Brown Dog, where Britt and Jude were also present, each hoping to see the other.

They agreed to one last anonymous night together.

As they left for Jude’s hotel, they ran into Josslyn and Hudson, and Jude recognized Joss as family.

Josslyn And Jude Clashed!

Tensions rose during Jude and Josslyn’s first conversation.

Hudson intervened, telling Jude to back off, but Jude countered that he had as much right to anything related to Jacks as Josslyn did.

Josslyn cautioned Britt against getting involved with her risky cousin, but Britt retorted that she didn’t need Josslyn’s guidance on her choices.

Ultimately, Britt chose not to spend another night with Jude, leaving him alone and frustrated.

Later, Josslyn confided in Hudson that she suspected Jude’s motives extended beyond Phoebe; he was after the family legacy that rightfully belonged to her.

The confrontation sets the stage for more trouble involving Jude and the Quartermaines.

Brook Lynn And Chase Strategized With Alexis

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) met with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who were anxious about Jude’s assertion of being Phoebe’s father.

She informed them that she had declined to represent Jude, but he was determined to fight for his daughter, claiming she was conceived with Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) through IVF.

Alexis mentioned she would notify the biological father of record, Ethan Lovett (Jonathan Howard), whose identity she withheld.

However, she cautioned them that if he confessed to lying about being Phoebe’s father, Jude could establish his paternal rights through a DNA test.

“Then our only task is to ensure he doesn’t obtain one,” Brook Lynn stated.

Meanwhile, Jude’s custody fight and Carly’s legal troubles are expected to create even more drama this week.

Annemarie’s Take

Carly and Valentin are in serious trouble now, and Charlotte’s bracelet could make everything worse! I’m glad Danny finally told Jason the truth, but keeping the kids out of Brennan’s murder investigation won’t be easy.

And Jude certainly isn’t making any friends in Port Charles! I think Josslyn is right to be suspicious, especially after his comments about the Jacks family legacy.
