Diane Begins The Photoshoot
Diane, in a sparkly pantsuit and faux fur, is modeling at the coffeehouse; Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) approaches and compliments her.
Thrilled about the shoot, Diane believes John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) would have loved it and is confident Jabot will outshine the competition!
The coffeehouse is fully transformed for the Jabot shoot, adorned with old model posters.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), and Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) arrive, greeted by Esther Valentine (Kate Linder).
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) arrives, and Diane expresses her happiness that everyone is present.

Esther Wants A Job
Jack mentions he has to leave soon, and Esther offers to help manage their social media.
Jack declines, smiling, and departs as the conversation shifts to model fees.
They share laughs, reminiscing about past shoots.
Diane tells Christine she’s up first and leads her to the patio for her photo session.
Lily shares she just returned from Maryland, where she saw The Articulettes in a recording session, feeling a bit star-struck.
Sharon Asks Danny About Making Albums
Sharon inquires if Danny plans to release another album or if he’s focused solely on running the Shadow Room.
Danny reveals he has an album on the way and is collaborating with Devon Winters (Bryton James) on a project, hoping to stay in Genoa City and near Christine.
Esther requests help from the men to move some items, leaving Lily and Sharon to chat.
Lily shares her recent scare of possibly having cancer again, but her scans returned negative, bringing her relief.
Sharon empathizes, recalling the anxiety of waiting for scan results, and they toast with their mugs.

Kyle And Victoria Break Up
Kyle approaches the bar for water and catches Victoria’s eye in the dining room. She texts him, saying, “Last night was fun.”
Kyle smiles and replies, “Too bad it was the last time.”
He heads to her table, where Victoria reminds him they agreed not to be seen together to avoid raising suspicions.
Kyle admits he can’t stop thinking about her and wants to be with her.
Victoria reciprocates the feelings but insists they need to keep their distance and avoid talking altogether.
Victoria And Kyle Fake Their Way Through Questions From Nikki And Jack
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) arrives, agreeing that Kyle should stay away from her daughter.
If Kyle wants to discuss Vibrante, he should speak with her instead.
Victoria reminds her mom that she originated the idea; Nikki offers to connect him with someone in PR.
Kyle agrees not to trouble Victoria about it again and heads back to the bar where his father, Jack, is waiting.
Jack inquires if everything is okay.
Kyle mentions he’s just setting boundaries and catching up on work since his London trip.
Jack corrects him, saying, “Don’t you mean Paris?”
Kyle chuckles, admitting he’s still jet-lagged and might need more rest, while Victoria tells her mom she was a bit too forward with Kyle. Is something bothering her?

Nikki Tells Victoria About Her Encounter With Diane
Nikki mentions she encountered Diane earlier and may have taken her frustrations out on Diane’s son.
She shares that Diane is organizing a reunion of former Jabot models and will be modeling herself!
Victoria acknowledges Diane was a Jabot model long ago.
Nikki laughs bitterly, saying, “A long time ago.”
She plans to leave Diane behind like the old brontosaurus she is!
Kyle’s phone rings, and he steps away to take the call.
Jack approaches Nikki and Victoria’s table, greeting them. He mentions a cancelled meeting and that Diane is doing a photoshoot at Crimson Lights.

Victoria Asks About Jack Helping Diane
Victoria inquires whether Jack plans to assist Diane.
Jack replies that he intends to sit this one out and let Diane manage it herself.
Nikki, looking worried, suddenly realizes she has a meeting coming up very soon. She bids farewell and exits.
Jack then takes a seat next to Victoria and mentions that he heard she just returned from London. How was the trip?
Victoria responds that it was quite productive, and she then shifts the topic to the new baby.
Before long, their discussion turns to her daughter. Jack nods in agreement.
On that note, he asks Victoria what she thinks the chances are of Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle rekindling their relationship.
Victoria is curious about why Jack believes Kyle and Claire might reunite.

Jack And Victoria Keep Talking, Then Kyle Comes Over
Jack shrugs; they had something meaningful, but it’s now lost, and he thinks he’s just being sentimental.
His son shouldn’t be alone. Kyle has a lot to give; maybe he just hasn’t found the right person yet!
When Kyle comes back, Jack tells him he needs to leave and asks Kyle to take his place.
Jack exits, and Kyle raises an eyebrow, questioning if she wants him to stay.
Victoria responds that she doesn’t want him to go, but thinks it’s better for him to leave.
They need to end this and make a clean break; too many could get hurt, especially Claire!
It was fun while it lasted, but they’re being selfish. There aren’t any real feelings, yet they must manage their attraction.
Kyle sighs, agreeing with her; he’ll stop.
Victoria confesses it’s hard for her too.
Kyle nods, relieved she shares his feelings. He smiles at her nostalgically, promising he won’t forget this… ever.
He walks away, and Victoria echoes that she won’t forget it either.

Bishop Becomes Nate’s Proctor
Nate learns about an upcoming surgery and asks Dr. Bishop if he can observe.
Dr. Bishop reviews Nate’s paperwork and informs him that he will be evaluating his recertification as his proctor.
He declines Nate’s request to observe, stating he needs to focus and that Nate shouldn’t expect to be prioritized.
Although Nate’s doctors have cleared him to return, Dr. Bishop doubts his readiness.
Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) enters and inquires about the situation.
Dr. Bishop explains that Dr. Hastings wants to observe the surgery and will be assisting, but he doubts Nate will remain a mere observer. What if Nate feels the urge to intervene?

Nate And Bishop Nearly Argue, Stephanie Steps In
Nate asks why Dr. Bishop would assume that.
Dr. Bishop recalls that Nate spoke up during his last observed surgery, offering suggestions and asking questions.
Nate counters that it was a routine procedure, and the surgeon invited his participation.
Dr. Bishop remains firm in his refusal, allowing Nate to watch via a monitor but not in the operating room.
Stephanie argues that Nate is a skilled surgeon and intends to override Dr. Bishop’s decision, trusting that Nate will refrain from voicing his opinions.
Observing the surgery, she believes, will support his return to surgery.

Bishop Is Testing Stephanie’s Patience
Dr. Bishop feels Stephanie is overstepping his authority as Dr. Hastings’ proctor.
Nate, not wanting to be a distraction, withdraws his request, while Stephanie remarks that she thought this was a teaching hospital, but not everyone seems to agree.
She gives Dr. Bishop a disapproving look as he excuses himself to prepare for surgery and leaves.
Frustrated, she tells Nate that Dr. Bishop is testing her patience.
During their lunch break at the restaurant, Stephanie tells Nate he didn’t need to defend her at the hospital; it’s her role to manage disagreements.
She wonders if she overstepped and criticizes Dr. Bishop for making himself Nate’s proctor, insisting there was no reason Nate shouldn’t have observed the surgery.
She doesn’t want him to sacrifice his growth for her sake.

Nate Clarifies Things To Stephanie
Nate makes it clear that he isn’t backing down just for Stephanie; he wants to stick to the rules and start off strong.
Stephanie worries that Dr. Bishop might complicate things for Nate while she’s away.
They sit down together, and Nate reassures her that he can manage Dr. Bishop.
Stephanie smiles, feeling confident in him, and admits she will miss him, not just the intimacy.
Nate laughs and encourages her to enjoy her time with Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) and Holden Novak (recently played by Nathan Owens) without feeling guilty.
Bishop Doesn’t Want Nate In The OR
She’ll be in Europe, leaving her worries behind in Genoa City, and he will miss her too.
They then return to the hospital, where Dr. Bishop greets them and gives an update: the patient is no longer in danger.
Stephanie steps away to speak with the family.
Dr. Bishop tells Nate that he has considered his requests, stating that no visitors will be allowed in the operating room.
Nate insists he isn’t a visitor; he’s a surgeon.
Dr. Bishop replies that he doubts Nate’s presence will help and reminds him that it’s his operating room, and he makes the rules.
He then turns and leaves.
Christine And Diane Reminisce
Christine and Diane share a laugh as the photoshoot unfolds.
After Christine wraps up her session, it’s Lily’s turn in front of the camera.
Christine remarks on how fun it was, reminiscing about the good old days, and Esther chuckles, recalling Cricket and Danny’s younger years.
As Lily’s shoot continues, Diane suggests Cane should join her. He laughs and, albeit reluctantly, steps in for the shoot.
Once they finish, it’s Sharon’s turn.
Danny mentions to Cane that he heard about Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) health scare and is relieved she pulled through, advising Cane to cherish time with loved ones since life is fleeting.

Nikki Crashes The Photoshoot
Cane expresses his gratitude as the shoot carries on with Sharon, Diane, Esther, and the rest of the group participating.
Nikki enters the coffeehouse, surveying the scene.
“Well, well, well. Isn’t this special?”
She spots Sharon and questions her about working for the competition.
Diane informs Nikki that it’s a private photoshoot and she’s not welcome.
Nikki can’t help but come to see Diane embarrass herself, believing she still has modeling potential, and is surprised to see Sharon there.
Sharon responds that she never thought Nikki would be bothered by her presence.

Nikki Expresses Her Frustration Over Sharon Modeling For Her Rival
Nikki expresses her frustration over Sharon modeling for her rival.
She mentions being a former Jabot model but claims she wasn’t invited.
Diane chuckles, suggesting that would never happen, noting Nikki’s arrogance about the campaign.
Nikki insists she wouldn’t have accepted the modeling offer anyway, criticizing Sharon and Lily for their actions.
She questions how Lily can repay Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) after he gifted her.
Diane retorts that Nikki is merely upset their campaign will overshadow her “little launch” and advises her to surrender.
Nikki snaps back, asserting Diane has no idea how she plans to retaliate, then storms out of the coffeehouse, telling them to enjoy their shoot.
Annemarie’s Take
I don’t believe Kyle and Victoria are really finished! They’re clearly struggling to stay away from each other. And Nikki crashing Diane’s photoshoot was priceless! I can’t wait to see how far these two women take their rivalry.
