General Hospital Spoilers Tuesday, August 18: Red-Carpet Nurses Ball Shockers – Sam Accepts Jason’s Offer – Nelle’s Startling Interruption

General Hospital (GH) spoilers Tuesday, August 18, tease that it’s time for the 2020 Nurses Ball, so that means Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will cohost the red-carpet event with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). However, we should note that this year’s party won’t feature the traditional swanky attire. Instead, the guests will go casual with Nurses Ball T-shirts, but there’ll still be plenty of the usual Nurses Ball fun.

Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will attend with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) on her arm, so they’ll try to enjoy one night without Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kofer) spoiling things. We’ll see how that plan works out for them. Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will also attend along with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Cassadine (Maura West).

Of course, Nikolas won’t be happy about going to this bash with Ava, who just found out about his plan to dupe her with Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel). Ava and Nikolas also shared a kiss – albeit an offscreen one – so this should be a tense, awkward night evening all around.

As for Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), he’ll chime in during Ava’s red-carpet interview and most likely irritate Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) with his comments. Meanwhile, it looks like Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will become Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) date for the evening, even if it’s not exactly official.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ned And Ned Quartermaine On The Outs

Olivia and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) are on the outs, but she may not see why she should let him ruin an otherwise celebratory night. On the red carpet, Olivia will be by Robert’s side as Nina and Carly ask him questions. Robert will note that he’s keeping his options open, so we’ll see exactly what he’s talking about as well as Ned’s reaction eventually.

In the meantime, let’s talk about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). Nelle’s planning to abduct Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) with the help of faux passports and a tracker. As Nelle continues to monitor that tracker, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) could put her plot at risk.

After Spinelli sneaks up behind Nelle in a dressing room, he’ll express curiosity. Spinelli will think he might be interrupting something, but Nelle should hide that tracker on her phone and try to throw Spin off the trail. Nevertheless, Spinelli may worry that Nelle’s up to something. She always is!

At GH, “JaSam” fans will get some new scenes with Kelly Monaco back in the role of Sam McCall. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will share some nice moments with Sam, who’ll sit by his hospital bed. It’s great that Jason and Sam can finally spend some time together without fear of Sam being sent back to the slammer.

Jason wasn’t thrilled about Sam making an agreement with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), but he’ll joke around with Sam on Tuesday. It looks like Jason will accept the benefits outweighed the consequences in this case. Regardless, Jason will make Sam an offer and tell her to take it or leave it. Sam will grin as she takes it, so things should be fine between Jason and Sam for now.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Casadine Has A few Tricks Up His Sleeve

As for Valentin, he’ll have a few more tricks up his sleeve – including one on stage it seems. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will promise Nina and Carly that he’s going to rise to the occasion. It appears Valentin will soon change into a tux and try to wow Nina with a Nurses Ball number. Valentin will probably sing a song in hopes of winning Nina over by the time Thursday rolls around.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be at the 2020 Nurses Ball as well, which is great since it just wouldn’t be the same without him! General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will battle some doubts about something, so we’ll see who he might express those doubts too.

Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), they’ll bump into each other and presumably have a little pity party.
