Half the fan base was sure his death was real, the other savvy half just knew the man who once lived to torment Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was still breathing. General Hospital comings and goings show Taggert came back to life in Port Charles. He confronted Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) on the docks and these two got into a ferocious verbal sparring match. The only problem is, all may not have been as it seemed. A few details were thrown about but one very telling one was left out. Could Marcus have turned his allegiance to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)?

General Hospital Spoilers – Marcus Taggert Is Alive And Well

It was wonderful for GH fans to see Tagger alive and well. We found out a few details about his premature demise, as it was reported. For one, he is in the Witness Protection Program. That came courtesy of Jordan who pulled every string she could find to get him in.

Second, she got Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) to go along with having him declared dead. Sounds like Monica isn’t the only one at GH who is making the hospital vulnerable to lawsuits!

GH Spoilers – Why Did Marcus Taggert Come Back To Harangue Jordan?

So, why did Marcus risk everything to come back to the scene of the crime? To commit an even bigger crime according to him? He has been keeping tabs on what goes down in Port Chuck and knows that Cyrus is an even bigger threat now that he’s gotten a foothold into the hospital.

He said he wanted to kill Cyrus and no one would be the wiser since he’s a dead man. Walking, of course.

General Hospital Spoilers – Has Marcus Taggert Turned Allegiances?

The only problem was that the whole scene was fishy. And it wasn’t the smell at the docks causing it. Marcus wasn’t himself. Has he turned sides and was really feeling out Jordan’s real agenda for Cyrus?

There is every reason to believe that Marcus is under Cyrus’ control—he has control of Jordan after all and she’s the police commissioner. Taggert got her to tell him her complete plan for neutralizing the mobster. How easy was that? Now all he has to do is report back to the pony-tailed meanie and Cyrus continues to remain in complete control.
