In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Noelle discussed the addiction storyline. As of right now, Hope doesn’t suspect that Steffy is becoming addicted to pain pills. However, she does feel that something isn’t right due to Steffy having an extreme reaction to Hope trying to take Kelly.

“She lost Phoebe to Hope, so you can’t blame her for being wary of Hope’s intentions… Hope is coming from a good place of concern and wanting Steffy to take care of herself, but she knows Steffy is going to be stubborn and wants to do it all herself.”
