‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Shauna Forced To Play Nice – Ridge Blames Wrong People

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Shauna Forrester (Denise Richards) unexpectedly achieved her status as Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) wife. She took advantage of unusual circumstances, which pushed Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) out the door.

Ridge has been raging at Brooke and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in recent weeks. But he’s blaming the wrong people for the dramatic change in his life’s circumstances. Shauna and Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) are to blame, along with one other person who Ridge simply can’t see.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Is To Blame

Ridge has chided himself but doesn’t blame himself more than he does Brooke and Bill. And why is that?

Brooke is an alcoholic, so she hasn’t knowingly drunk liquor in recent years. Ridge isn’t an alcoholic. But he is a binge drinker.

Apparently incapable of recalling that his binge drinking at Bikini Bar last summer created problems, Ridge proceeded to chug liquid lightning in Las Vegas, Nevada. What happened next was predictable.

Ridge allowed himself to lose control. When that happened, Shauna texted Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), pretending to be Ridge. Divorce papers were filed as a result. Then, Shauna led Ridge to a wedding chapel, where he completed legal vows, even though he was unaware of what he was doing.

B&B Spoilers – Sabotage Coup Executed Almost Perfectly

Shauna isn’t telling Ridge the truth about how he came to be divorced from Brooke and then married Richards’ character on the same day. She can’t tell him what happened, or he’d immediately seek an annulment.

Quinn certainly has no plans to confide in anyone other than Shauna. Sofer’s character led this devious plot that miraculously ended the latest edition of Bridge and sealed Shidge within a matter of hours. It was quite a personal sabotage coup.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Truth Can’t Be Told

Neither of the involved ladies can allow their secrets to be revealed. At least Shauna, if not also Quinn would lose their husbands as a result.

So, Shauna must continue to play the role of the Brooke alternative. Where Lang’s character was demanding, Richards’ is welcoming and open. Where Brooke represents a tortured past, Shauna is a pleasant present.

As long as Ridge is convinced that Brooke is in love with his mortal enemy and that Bill is actually the agitator who caused Bridge to collapse, then he’ll remain oblivious to reality. Shauna and Quinn are the lesser causes of Ridge’s problems, with the man himself being the most at fault.
