General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Britt Helping Spencer Get Rid Of Ava So Nikolas Can Have Cassadine Fortune?

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Britt Westbourne, (Kelly Thibaud) who just returned to Port Charles as General Hospital’s Chief of Staff might be in town on another mission as well; helping Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas J. Bechtel) break up Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Marcus Coloma, Maura West)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Has Likely Told Spencer About The Prenup

Viewers will recall that Spencer had distanced himself from his father, and wanted nothing further to do with him – unless he broke up with Ava. Nikolas still holds a grudge against her for taking Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) deal to not testify against him in the murder of Nikolas (who was not actually dead, as we now know) to help her get her beauty back after being burned in a fire! Spencer also was livid with his father when he appeared back from the dead without having kept Spencer in the loop, which he had every right to be.

Nikolas told Spencer it was for his own protection, but Spencer didn’t buy it. The little boy who is now a young man believed his father was dead for the entire time Nikolas was missing, which was several years. Spencer had spent all those years trying to avenge his father’s death, and here he wasn’t even dead – when Nikolas and Ava had come to France to see Spencer at his boarding school, Spencer told him he was as heartless as Valentin! However, father and son had been having some phone conversations, and in one of them, Spencer told Nikolas he would consider reuniting with him, but only if Ava were out of the picture!

In the most recent conversation, General Hospital Nikolas had told Spencer his plan A had not worked to get rid of Ava, but he had a new plan; obviously, Nikolas must have explained the prenup to Spencer, because otherwise he could just dump Ava and move on. Viewers will recall that the prenup stipulates if either Nikolas or Ava cheats on the other one, whoever doesn’t cheat gets all the money and the Cassadine estate! But what happens if neither is eligible because of both of them cheating on the other? It stands to reason that then Spencer gets it all!

GH Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Arrives In Town, Nikolas And Ava  Jerome Are Each Photographed Kissing Other People

It seems strangely coincidental that the same day that Britt arrives in town, Nikolas and Ava are each photographed kissing other people; Nikolas, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in a park in Port Charles, and seemingly at the same time, Ava, kissing Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) in her gallery! Franco only just found out about the prenup when Ava told him, and Elizabeth only just found out about it from Nikolas! So, it doesn’t seem that either one of those could have hired a private investigator, let alone two of them, to set Nikolas and Ava up for a breakup – not to mention they were already struggling financially even before Liz just found out her hours at the hospital are being reduced, that is why Franco agreed to paint Ava’s portrait.

They would not have been able to afford to hire private investigators, and besides, why? They have nothing to gain from Nikolas and Ava breaking up if neither really wants to become re-involved; Franco and Liz are still married! As Franco told Ava, she could hire a gigolo if being celibate is becoming unbearable for her! However, Britt was once engaged to Nikolas – and she and Spencer adore each other. Britt laid into Nikolas, as his mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) also did for hurting Spencer by not letting him know he was alive. Spencer is still in boarding school in France – as far as we know – and he’s still upset with his father.

Not all is forgiven! It just seems too much of a coincidence for Spencer’s good friend and ally Britt to show up in town the same day both Nikolas and Ava are photographed kissing other people, which could mean both of them could be taken as breaking the prenup, with Spencer being the only one still eligible to inherit the Cassadine estate and all the money! If Spencer cooked up this plan on his own, he’s out-Cassadineing his own father!
