The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Who Is Paul Williams On The CBS Sudser?

Paul Williams is one of the longest-running characters on the show, having debuted in 1978. Davidson is the longest-serving actor on the show, even longer than iconic Eric Braeden (Victor Newman). Along the way, he won a daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in 2013.

Early on Paul was involved with Nikki Reed Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Paul and Nikki were in the New World Commune as well.

Later Paul was involved with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) but it is Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) who is his true and lasting love. These two have been through heck and back, including a turbulent past with Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) who once tried to kill them by crashing her car into them.

Y&R Spoilers – Paul Williams Has A Complicated History

At one point Paul had an affair with a client, Isabella Braña, played by Eva Longoria. Christine divorced him and Paul and Isabella had a child who turned out to be a bad seed like his mom. Sadly, Paul shot and killed their son in order to keep him from hurting someone else.

Along the way, Paul had to deal with his unstable sister Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) who terrorized the town as well. As you can see, Paul is the stable one in his family!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Will Paul Williams do Next?

Eventually, Paul became the chief of police and remarried Christine. Christine was the D.A. for a while, but she has relinquished that job. They are happy together, for now, and Paul is busy with his job at the GCPD. Although it looked like Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) had usurped him at one point, Paul’s job now seems safe.
