Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of October 5-9 teases that there’ll be major drama thanks to Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape accusations and Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) denial. After Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) hears Allie’s side of the story, she’ll confront Tripp at Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) place.

When Lani reveals the reason for this visit, Tripp will immediately freak out. He’ll assure Lani and Steve that he never slept with Allie and isn’t the father of her baby. Of course, Lani will still need to take Tripp down to the Salem PD for an interrogation. That’s where Tripp will really get agitated. Tripp will insist that Allie’s lying and will promise there’s just no way this is possible.

However, Allie will stand by her story and fill Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) in next. Although Claire will be taken aback by Allie’s claims, it looks like she’ll back Allie up. Claire knows that sometimes seemingly nice guys can be rotten at their core. Chase Jennings (Jonathan McClendon) was viewed as a decent guy before he raped Ciara, so Claire should understand and will hug Allie as a sign of support.

Meanwhile, Steve will give Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) updates on Allie’s allegations and get a surprising response. Kayla will contend that maybe Tripp “is one of those kinda guys who can’t take no for an answer.”

Steve will seem upset since that’s his son Kayla’s talking about. He’ll wonder if Kayla really thinks Tripp did this, but there’s only one way to find out. A paternity test could go a long way toward proving Tripp’s innocence or guilt.

In the meantime, Tripp will confront Allie about why she’s accusing him of something he didn’t do. It looks like Tripp’s puzzled reaction will be authentic, but Allie will still feel certain he’s her rapist. Days seems to be laying the groundwork for Allie to have mistaken Tripp for someone else in her apartment that night.

Shifting gears, let’s talk about what Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will push Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) to get for her. Eli will agree to help take down Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) as long as Lani stays out of jail. Once Eli’s on board, Melinda will insist on what she’d really liked is a taped confession. If Kristen admits to stabbing Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) in her own words, there’ll be no room for doubt.

Eli will visit Kristen’s hotel room later and lash out about the trouble Lani could land in. “I feel horrible,” Kristen insists on DOOL’s extended weekly promo. “I don’t give a damn how you feel!” Eli fires back. It appears Eli’s plan will be to get Kristen feeling guilty enough to run down all her crimes and apologize for Lani’s tight spot.

Eli should walk away from this conversation with a recording, but will he really hand it over to Melinda? If Eli does what Melinda wants, Lani’s going to blow her top! Nevertheless, the alternative is letting Lani go to prison – and that’s not something Eli’s willing to do. It seems Eli may have no choice but to give Melinda this recorded confession.

Over with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), he’ll call Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) out for having Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) get him arrested. After this fierce faceoff, Philip will blab to Victor and get Xander fired from Titan Industries. This Kiriakis war probably won’t be winding down anytime soon!

Finally, Claire will literally bump into a new Titan intern named Charlie (Mike Manning). Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will spill a green smoothie all over him, but Charlie will wind up asking her out on a date anyway.
